New Hillary Clinton Probe ‘Suggests Criminality,’ Veteran FBI Investigator Says

The announcement on Friday that the FBI is investigating a new batch of Hillary Clinton emails suggests the bureau may have uncovered something criminal, a 35-year FBI veteran tells TheWrap.

“This letter is a shocker,” said James Wedick, who headed the FBI’s corruption squad in Sacramento. “Obviously they stumbled upon something that suggests criminality.”

In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, FBI director James Comey explained that the bureau “has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

Comey did not explain where the new emails came from, only saying only that they surfaced “in connection with an unrelated case.”

The New York Times reported Friday that the new batch of related emails were discovered on the devices of former Congressman Anthony Weiner and his wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, as part of another FBI investigation into illicit text messages that Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

Hell - they uncovered criminality during the first one and opted to whitewash it. I doubt this latest will be able to be covered with whitewash or it would never have seen the light of day in the first place.

Agree. Also he, or some agents, may have been given a preview of what WikiLeaks will unleash as the final blow against the Cabal.....

At that level, I very much doubt there is anything in writing about the bribe he took. Just like there’s no written evidence Hitler personally ordered European Jewry wiped out.

Nice theory, though. My own take is he has gone back to the well a second time after realizing his July payoff was far too small.

She was on HC’s campaign plane yesterday. I wouldn’t call that “in hiding.”

And where was Andrea Mitchell with the exclusive interview of Huma.

The Talk last night in the Twittersphere: Julian Assange released a message yesterday that said that the next batch of Wikileaks released will result “in HilLIARy’s arrest”— so the Tweeters think that the FBI wanted to get ahead of it-
-and I suspect that when they saw Trump had a crowd of 20,000 this past week, they realized that they’ll have a new sheriff in town...

AND I think that Carlos Danger has been trying to make a DEAL with them to get out of his own pickle (sorry) AND they already know what Assange is talking about- so they decided to take Carlos up on his offer, re-open the “investigation” using the “new evidence” because they ‘found’ additional laptops containing ten thousand or more emails (which they wouldn’t have time to read, so how did they know there was something incriminating on them?)- and do it all in time for the Friday night news dump.

IMHO, they made the announcement about ‘re-opening their investigation’, hoping Wikileaks will back off and not release whatever it is they have that will see HilLIARy arrested - because the FBI ALREADY KNOWS what it is and did nothing about it...now they can pretend to find it on the laptops they ‘found’ which were actually turned in by Wiener/Danger as part of a deal...

Agree. The snakes wouldn’t come out from under their rocks unless they feared destruction.

You are suggesting Comey is honorable, concerned about the integrity of the FBI and will do the right thing. His actions have indisputably disproven all of those entirely, IMO. The FBI cannot repair itself with him at the helm. Personally, I think he is part of the Clinton, Inc. cabal.

Carlos Danger has most recently been going by T-Dog.

Furthermore, if they looked on the laptops and saw these things to be the case, they would be legally covered for not obeying the order to destroy the laptops, because the destruction of the laptops would have been obstruction of justice. They cannot be required to commit a crime.

AND if I understand it correctly, the evidence on those laptops would also be admissible in court because they were NOT unlawfully obtained. If the immunity deal was void, the laptops are fair game.

I would hope that the white hats in the FBI have activated some kind of kill switch to get rid of the incentive for Arkancide. And I would hope they have the laptops someplace safe - and perhaps have somehow made backup copies of everything on them.

Also, there could well be stuff on Weiner’s computer, but I wouldn’t doubt if any FBI white hats told Comey to say they found emails on Weiner’s computer because it adds the tabloid thing - and would guarantee that at least SOMEBODY in the press would cover the story. Weiner is a laughingstock, the FBI folks would know of Huma’s criminality and probably suspect some of her intentions, and it would be sweet justice if the whole house of cards came down because of the public’s salacious interest in sex, the tool that Hillary has tried to use against Trump.

I have a feeling this is something like the “blue dress.” The Clintons lied until they no longer could when Monica had the ace up her sleve to protect herself. In this case, maybe it’s Weiner saving himself or Huma. Either way, it appears someone set aside a bunch of emails to protect themselves if needed. I think what’s on the laptop is the smoking gun and Team Clinton is in such freakout mode because they know it.

Hannity had been repeating this but retracted it last night.

Probably told by the Murdochs to “ shut it down”

After all if any of this comes true its the end of the MSM and the Faux News shift to becoming the new CNN

So basically, Comey has helped the Clintons skate away from trouble for a couple decades now.

I’m not getting any hopes up that he’ll reverse course and take her down at this late date.

My guess. Someone in the business told FBI that if they wouldn’t drop the bomb, someone else would. But then what do I know. Haven’t been to Ft.Meade in Years.

I don’t think it was Comey who found this new evidence. I believe it was probably the NYPD or the NY office of the FBI. They pushed Comey against a wall.

Right! Comey's letter to Congress did NOT say he "decided" to investigate further... he said he "agreed" to do that, which means the Weiner investigators probably showed what they found to some of the email investigators and they pushed Comey into agreeing.

Hillary's public statement yesterday, calling out Comey and all but demanding he release every bit of information about her, was downright creepy.

I would suggest he take great care of his personal well-being right now.

Comey may have to scramble mightily to avoid jail himself even now by the time this episode is complete. To think he could further avoid doing his job properly at this point would only increase the both the likelihood and length of a jail term for him.

That would be the essence of choosing poorly now, IMHO.

Given Obama's complicity in this scandal, I'm more than hopeful his ability to provide pardons and commutations related to this is nullified. Bigwigs seem to agree.
