Experts warn 800 species, many endangered, affected by border wall

A study by Mexico’s top university has revealed that at least 800 species of wildlife will be adversely affected by President Trump’s planned 2,000-mile border wall with Mexico.

Research published by ecologists from the Mexican National Autonomous University has shown that an impassable physical barrier placed into ecosystems inhabited by jaguars, black bears and bighorn sheep will so disrupt patterns of migration as to cause a “natural catastrophe.”

“The U.S.-Mexico border is made up of mountains, jungle, coastline and many other diverse ecosystems,” Professor Gerardo Ceballos, who led the investigation published last week, told Fox News. “Wildlife has populated these regions for millions of years, and has always had freedom of movement to hunt, reproduce and migrate. To make these animals suffer as a result of man’s political agenda is entirely immoral.”

Of the 800 species that will be affected by President Trump’s border wall, 140 are in danger of extinction, including the bald eagle, grey wolf, armadillo and jaguar, a big cat of which remain only 10 in the highlands of the Sonora Desert that straddle Arizona.

Good grief. Have any of these idiots driven either I-35 or I-70? How does a six lane highway with a concrete barrier down the middle differ from a wall?

I’m waiting for them to declare “illegal aliens” an endangered species.

Outpost.com Fires a Gerbil through a hole in the wall to show support for Outpost.com

Hey, this would work well for the border wall, too. We could gather up all the endangered species and fire them with a cannon through holes in the wall (like they do in the video) to show just how safe it is, and how much we support the environmental movement!

Has anyone ever seen, or know anyone who’s ever seen, a jaguar in Arizona? I thought they were rare even in the Yucatan. I do know that jaguars do exist in southeastern Mexico.

There is a coastline at each end of the border. The border is not made up of them.

Walls are not going to be placed over mountains.

Echo systems will still exist, but travel to old stomping grounds will be hindered. That’s not our fault.

You’re absolutely right. There are no jungles. Jungles? LOL

All these folks criticizing the United States for protecting itself, would have been smarter to ask Mexico to quit allowing it’s citizens to invade the U. S. As with any problem though, it’s the United States that is the real culprit in these folk’s minds. It can do no right. Mexico can do no wrong. Illegal aliens can do no wrong.

Jerk is right. There are certainly a lot of them out there these days.

“...tall trees near by for roosting and observing, that have fish in them...”

No wonder the eagles were having a hard time of it.

"How does a six lane highway with a concrete barrier down the middle differ from a wall?"

Makes it easier to flattenicate the endangered species with the tires of our cars when they can't get out of the roadway?

American citizens' lives are really threatened without the wall!

Let libs work with Mexico to "protect" their non-threatened endangered species threatened by our wall!

That question is pretty much irrelevant. The Mexican National Autonomous University doesn't give a crap about the animals. They just don't want a wall built.

Well, if these same liberals had enforced the border like they said they would to get the Reagan-Kennedy amnesty, we would not need that wall. They should shut up, because what is going to happen if there is no wall is likely to be much worse for endangered species.

By the way, if Texas secedes, someone will be passing out recipes for “endangered species.”

I KNEW this was going to happen!

Just this morning, I was thinking to myself, “You watch. Some environmentalist wacko group will claim that the ‘yellow-titted sapsucker’ is endangered by the construction of the wall.”

“Then, some unelected left-wing judge will shut down construction of the wall.”

These Mexican “university” types are the beginning of the process.

I just knew that this would be the next tactic used by the stinking left.

Just need some A-1, some Worcestershire (I alternate with them but been a couple of years since I had steak), some grilled asparagus with butter and a lemon slice to squeeze, some steamed broccoli with butter and a nice baked potato with sour cream, chives and bacon bits.

Hooboy. Well, I went off the diet today with a greasy cheeseburger with lite grilled onion, pickles, mustard, some tater tots and a large Coke. Burp. My big “wrong” meal of this week. Ah, it was fun.

That’s gonna be my meal for the whole day.

Yesterday it was just toast and some steamed veggies (potato, carrots, green beans).

Tomorrow, more steamed veggies and maybe toast.

But the STEAK was fun to look at!
