(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton issued the following statement in response to today’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court concerning President Trump’s Executive Order that, among other anti-terrorist measures, temporarily restricts most travel from certain Middle East nations:
Today, in a historic decision, every Supreme Court justice agreed for now to reinstate practically all of President Trump’s executive order concerning travel. This is a major blow to anti-Trump activist judges on the lower courts. And it is a big victory for our nation’s security, President Trump, and the rule of the law. In light of today’s strong ruling, the Trump administration should consider additional steps to keep terrorists out of the United States.

Don’t bother; I was listening to CNN on XM this morning and they were twisting themselves into pretzels trying to make this look like the lower courts were correct in their rulings. One thing they claimed was SCOTUS ONLY reinstated part of the ban. (Like it was only a small part of the ban affected). Over and over they kept emphasizing it was only a partial reinstatement.
Expect the same on the other networks.

Which would be the greatest accomplishment in decades if he never did another thing. MAGA.
I hope Trump uses a different group of lawyers to argue for this case than was used in past months. The previous group of lawyers representing the government always seems to get rolled, or overruled. It may have to do with the 9th Circuit’s involvement, but not always.
Anticipate the most outrageous, ridiculous reasons the left may give for blocking this ban, then prepare for them.
Never forget that with the democrats, no bar is too low, if it insures a win or postponement.

As one who voted for Castle because Trump was/is not a conservative, I will continue to stand by my choice. President Trump continues to be more liberal than other conservative candidates. I have and will continue to support conservatives.
