I work at a univ., so if you want to know what they're wearing just look at the students.

The rule seems to be, ‘forget personal hygiene’ and that's the basis for everything else.

I am sick to death of looking at dirty, matted hair, dirty clothes, dirty sneakers with everything, run over at the heel, torn jeans...etc.

C’mon-I used to be a student too, but no matter what the ‘fashion’-there is always soap and water. No one needs to be so dirty that they smell. This includes faculty

We knew the nyt had chosen to use all its resources to destroy this country. No surprise. Do they also praise suicide bomber vests?

My advisor was great. A quirky guy and we all liked him. He was a fervent environmentalist and showered once a week-my guess was for church on Sundays. By the end of the week we all stayed a few steps back when talking with him.

Is it laziness or saving the planet where you work?

The original from Barney's was $374.99 but you can get a knock-off for a mere $179.99

I pushing 80 and still have large hands and a very strong grip, with minimal arthritis in my hands.

The concealment issue is critical for me.

If I get my C&C, I want a gun that can be concealed easily and easily drawn.

Sounds like American college campuses in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s:

“I am sick to death of looking at dirty, matted hair, dirty clothes, dirty sneakers with everything, run over at the heel, torn jeans...etc.”

I decided that it’s the ultimate form of disrespect for society and tradition.

Who enters your presence smelling like a turd? What are they telling you when they do that?

They are telling you how little regard they have for you.

Your values and traditions mean less than nothing. That means NO RESPECT for you.

In this place, if you comb your hair and wash your clothes... you’re overdressed.

That’s crazy. It’s been awhile since I was in college, but man did we try to look good. The smelling good was a given. Everyone showered everyday as far as I know (excepting the one professor!). Of course, I went to a private Christian college. Women outnumbered men 2:1 so we all put great effort into ourselves. A friend whose son is there says it’s now 6:1. I guarantee the women are showering daily!
