For all the MPs and media outlets jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon, maybe its time to think again because most people actually want his state visit to go ahead.
Thats according to an LBC poll that showed 74% want the US President on British shores.....

Snort. They may or may not want Trump, but they’re thinking twice about offending American tourists.
Too late.
Samuel Johnson is spinning.
Read some of the comments by normal Brits on British news sites...
Katie Hopkins effect. She’s the right’s Kathy Griffin. Only she’s funny.
Trump could talk up Winston Churchill.
If this poll’s accurate...tourism fears, Brexit fears. They need us more than we need them. Especially when their pols are bent on national self-destruction.
Note to the UK: You have a uniparty, too. And yours is just as pernicious.
That’s still a quarter who don’t want it and will do anything they can to embarrass the President.
I thought Trump has already cancelled the visit.
From what lve seen and heard from Katie, shes intelligent, articulate, engaging, passionate and fighting for her country.......a patriot spirit!
Please dont compare her to that dirty mouth, has been Kathy Griffin!
Such a disservice to Katie!
NOT like Kathy, NEVER
Katie’s hot!
When I’ve read comments on the issue at a popular UK site yes there are some jerks but it seems the majority commenting are pro-Trump and wish they could have a leader like him right now.
And we all know how accurate polls are. Perhaps they have already taken financial/tourist hit, hence the “positive” poll.
Forget it! The government is vile! They spied on President Trump!
A delay satisfies all political dissention
They need to find their own candidates. Look outside their own uniparty.
Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. And, gad, what a propaganda sheet for their uniparty has the DM become.
The poll might be a sop. Might be registering folks getting cold feet.
Either way, sucks to be them.
I can see the economic boost but I don't see how that will impact US/UK relations.
