Jeff Sessions on Nunes memo: "No department is perfect"
AXIOS ^ | Feb, 02, 2018 | A.B. Brown Jr

Posted on 02/02/2018 12:05:55 PM PST by VideoDoctor

Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued a statement Friday following the release of the controversial Nunes memo alleging FISA abuse by the FBI and Department of Justice. I have great confidence in the men and women of this Department. But no Department is perfect.

Full statement:
“Congress had made inquiries concerning an issue of great importance for the country and concerns have been raised about the Department’s performance. I have great confidence in the men and women of this Department. But no Department is perfect.

Accordingly, I will forward to appropriate DOJ components all information I receive from Congress regarding this. I am determined that we will fully and fairly ascertain the truth.

We work for the American people and are accountable to them and those they have elected. We will meet that responsibility.”

No problem.

I really think it wise for our own sanity, to not jump too quick to any conclusions. Also, it’s important to trust that Trump knows what he’s doing. He’s playing at a very high level, beyond what most people can imagine. He has experience in extremely complicated scenarios of negotiating etc.

So far, I’m amazed at how well he’s executed his first year. I knew that it would get off to a slow start, because the other party had been in control for 8 years. He’s been incredibly good at collecting momentum now. There are things that appear to be problems or setbacks, and then all a sudden he’s got them licked. How about that one day govt shutdown??

Have to doubt that ALL 900,000 employees of the DOJ...yep, 900,000, are actually working FOR citizens of the U.S.A.!

Yeah, another one for the a-kickin’ program. Good choice.

Dan Bongino for FBI Director.

That is probably one of the most prudent replies in terms of a solution so far.

I will pursue legal action on each and every violation of US law and assure the great people of the United States that these people who have demonstrated disregard for rules of decency and good order in the governance of this nation will be hauled before a court of justice, so help me God. signed, Jeff Sessions (NOT)

ABC News - February 2, 2018 - brief video excerpt of Sessions remarks at link. . .

Jeff Sessions said this morning that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand “both represent the kind of quality and leadership that we want in the department.”

Is Clinton a bad apple then? Surely Comey is just a bad apple that needs discipline then too right?

What a snake! Congress only knows what the FBI and DoJ reveal to them, and they are fighting that transparency every step of the way!

No, Jeff. YOU should be providing the Congress all the information it has been demanding, information that your imperfect department has been stonewalling for over a year.

Someone in the memo live thread mentioned Sessions as Elmer Fudd which is spot on, but Keebler Elf is an even better description of him.

Perfect thanks! So now we know what he’s been doing. Making some great Keebler Fudge. In a tree.

I don’t think its too much to ask that government employees and agencies obey the law.

I believe that Trump's life experience has inoculated him from "gaslighting..."

Trump 'caught' what they were up to... that's when he came up with the wiretapping comment.

But the 'intelligence' thugs WERE doing gaslighting. In fact it appears they were doing most of the filthy tricks they us against other countries. It's time for this stuff to see the light of day...seems we've got our own KGB thugs - - it doesn't reflect well on our culture.

All the 'breenans, clappers, etc need to be fired... removed, disgraced, and if possible - - tried, convicted and jailed.

I think another feather in that quiver is the tax cuts, low unemployment, and the economy in general.

It’s hard to vote against a party that gave you a job, increased your take home pay, created a business environment where your employer gave you a hefty bonus, and increased the value of your 401k.

During the SOTU, the democrats, especially the black caucus, outed themselves as being ANGRY at the low unemployment rate for blacks, hispanics, women. The optics on that gotta hurt. (I don’t know how many black left-leaning voters actually watched, but any chipping away at ignorance is a good thing.)

Well, you were wrong about who Q was after fatuously declaring (and looking down at the rest of the posters) that it was quite obvious to you once you checked a certain date, or words to that effect.

Why should anyone trust any of your blatherings now?

Also, your redditor-inspired “bombshell” about the memo is dwarfed by other news.

Staggering info from Brendan Dilley:

https://twitter.com/itsangrybob/status/959796651622793216

It ought to have a purple box with black letters, “Dilley Intel Drop”.

Double-click on that, I think it’s the transcript. Notice he talks about literal hangings of US officials for treason, and possibly life imprisonments of others for RICO violations.

After you’ve double clicked, you can click the > or the < to move to different screens in the transcript...

(Dilley, and Q, and Hannity, and Michael Savage, and some others, all seem to be getting common, or interlocking / complementary information. Note that a sitting US Congressman has openly used the word “Treason” in public in writing, on Twitter, about this matter.)

You must have misunderstood my post re the word salad you resently send my way. It wasn’t meant as a putdown in any sense. It was my honest and sincere assessment. While I wish you all the best, I can’t continue an exchange that alternates between gratuitously nasty insults and simple irrationality.
