McCabe claims he was singled out. If he is right, the DoJ needs to fire the others who were as corrupt as McCabe. The names Strzok and Ohr come to mind.

Agree, but if you have ever worked with the judicial system, nothing happens quickly, unless it comes from some blackrobed tyrant dumping on US citizens.

I’m more concerned with the bribe McCabe took, and what services he delivered to repay that money, than anything he might have leaked to a reporter.

He belongs in jail.

McCabe is another satellite in the orbit of the Clintons and has found gravity an unwelcome force.

Now I don't care who you are, that right there is some darn good wordsmithing!

In spite of the source of the recommendation against McCabe, this nitwit is screaming, “It’s Trump’s fault”, maybe he is also blaming the Russians and a lot of others, having learned nothing from Hillary’s rants and excuses.

Having been fired twice when I didn’t deserve (and once when I did, but I was a 17 year old smart ass and learned from it) basically from office politics, I do feel for the guy. But retirement at 50 is really for those folks in physically demanding jobs, if even that. I can see someone with 30 years in the Army or 25 as a firefighter being pretty much ready for the porch, but a suit?

Still, mess with the bull and get the horns, nobody could be dumb enough to doubt Pres Trump wouldn’t fire their butt.

Per AG Sessions’ statement - McCabe “lacked candor under oath”

Who interrogated McCabe “under oath” ?

Not the IG.

How about that Secret Prosecutor briefly mentioned by the AG sometime back ?

Why did Sessions fire McCabe?

Has Sessions come to his senses? Did somebody feed him a ton of ginkgo biloba? Have space aliens tampered with his DNA to raise his IQ? Has he sprouted a backbone? Did he suddenly perceive the wind to be blowing in a different direction?

What's going on?

I wrote previously on another post that i did not expect him to be fired. Now that he has, my faith in the Trump administration has drastically increased. I can not wait until 2020 to help his campaign and get “4 MORE YEARS”!!!

Maybe Adam Schiff can hire him on his staff. It would be a perfect fit.

I believe the others (Strok, Page, Ohr, Priestap, etc.) Are already cooperating with the investigators. And I suspect the AG waited until the very last day to fire McCabe to ramp up the pressure in an effort to flip him, too. Alas, he is all in with the deep-stat. He has chosen poorly.

“50th birthday, when he would have become eligible for full retirement benefits.”

Gov workers retiring when they’re 50.

That’s got to end.””

Reports say that his pension is $1.8 MILLION. Pretty sure that not many WORKING Americans get anywhere near that kind of ‘pension’.

I think they had to pull the trigger on McCabe because he was 2 hours away from retirement. They couldn’t force him to work with IG after he retired. Each time he lied to the IG can be a separate charge of lying to the FBI ;-)

Same with the others you listed. Are they close to retiring? If not keep them on staff and keep racking up the lies, or keep them feeling safe if they are cooperating. But in the end they need to do some jail time. But if giving them a check in the meantime keeps them talking I’m good with that for now. But in the end they have to pay for their crimes. Unless one is a critical witness in which witness protection would be ok too. They have to get a new life and live in hiding forever. That’s a good punishment too.

Military can retire at age 38 (assuming they joined when they were 18).

Or 17, which was what my brother did in '61. They dangled an E-8 to him if he'd re-up after 20 years, but he'd have to serve on a ship with a Captain he hated.

He said no thanks.

Bump to your post. (A “like” if you will)

You are 100% correct in everything you wrote. I know, I work in this area, deal with the horrible traffic and meet, on a regular basis, the types of people you describe.

A real swamp draining puts an end to retirement at 50 and pensions that can’t be touched unless you do something exceedingly horrible like molest a kid or something like that (and even then a lot of red tape to end the gravy train).

Probably will never happen though. The same folks in charge of keeping such activities honest are the ones who benefit from such gold encrusted deals. Trump is truly alone in the battle. I don’t even know if he’s mighty enough to stop it on his own.

But if he hit 30 years he would get 75% of his base pay for life. Vice 50%. Quite a big carrot to give up. That captain must have been a pretty tough captain.
