Swampers know there’s always another job on offer no matter how incompetent or corrupt they are.

How long before we hear of a book contract for McCabe with a multi-million dollar advance?

That's the way they get their payoffs with laundered money.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI - A great day for Democracy. Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!

Agree 100% but....one of the few advantages of the so called information age is that their self serving lies are often debunked well before the book is published. John Dean still enjoys credibility and popularity among the lefties because the media saw to it nobody could blunt his saint routine. Donna Brazile’s book, for example, came and went inside a week despite her PR firm pushing ‘explosive’ quotes that were really pulled punches. She got paid but the book didn’t make a dime. E-publishing is a relatively inexpensive pursuit but let’s hope even e-publishers stop propping up liars. I also hope legal jeopardy prevents him from talking...except to a judge.

McCabe is another satellite in the orbit of the Clintons and has found gravity an unwelcome force. More please.

“McCabe continues his lying by saying he is innocent!”

While the press has focused the anti-Trump angle in McCabe’s answer, McCabe (weakly) addressed the cause of his firing - “lack of candor” i.e. lying. He said that at worst he was “distracted” in the midst of chaotic events...that he answered as truthfully as he could amidst the chaos. (How does one answer “as truthfully as he could”? Does this mean one might not be able to be truthful if there is chaos around and therefore this is excusable?)

He also said when he thought “his answers” were “misunderstood” he then contacted investigators to “correct them”. I wonder what Flynn thinks about that? Or better, Martha Stewart who “corrected her records” too after speaking to investigators. And McCabe wants some slack cut for him for his “misunderstood” statements? If he is lucky, he will only suffer being fired. He claims he is innocent yes, but even his written response he could not declare that he was always truthful.

The bottom line is there is now a strong public record that McCabe lies; despite the MSM’s hack partisanship, McCabe’s credibility, his ability to be truthful despite chaos and under pressure is impeachable should he try to corroborate Comey’s version of discussions with Trump. Comey is going to need help from someone else. McCabe is an attorney and he was taught about impeaching witnesses.

I was wondering the same thing. I understand the military 20 year retirement, because getting the young to commit to war, separation, isolation, and 24/7 duty is unique.

Maybe being fbi is also dangerous, but do regular GS employees also have a 20 year plan?

All he had to do was be honest, but oh no; that was too much like work.

He has the media on his side

Twitter has this great blocking feature. There are lists that help you block hundreds of pervs and retards at a time. I never see Mitchell or any like demons in my feed. You only have to know that they will always lie. The shape of the lie is unimportant.

You can't undo "fired" with whatever attached provisions.

BUT...if he had left on his own and acquired another civil service job, he might have been able to attach the shortage. He insisted on playing a game his way. AND I'll bet you 10 to one....that Comey tutored him.

This whole episode and its timing has me thinking; what if, just like in a spy novel, nothing is Quite like it appears? What if, the long visit to the DOJ, by McCabe, was actually his confession to save himself from going to jail? What if, the response he made, attacking the president, was a ruse to keep the bad actors un-informed of what is really happening?

This means that the president and the rest of the good guys are playing the MSM like a fiddle with bigger fish about to fall into the net. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

" McCabe says the Obama-appointed IG is singling him out."

Just wait. You'll have plenty of company in time.

Rather than being excited by his temporary challenges, wouldn’t it be wonderful for Mr McCabe and us for him to begin singing like a Canary, and exposing perhaps more than we all thought we knew?

When I had my two girls in 1995 and 2003 I received no bills in the mail. The hospital took the 80% and never asked for the rest. The good old days!
