Kim is setting the stage—he wants something from Trump—something big. Could be anything. My bet its economic. Like lift sanctions, demilitarize border, trade with USA. We need to get our ship back—the USS Pueblo they have as a memorial. WE should get it back even if we sink it! Have Kim come to the White House, maybe Disneyland? Cultural links with USA like dance and music companies exchange. A treaty that we will not invade or attack North Korea would be good with a provision that the treaty is null and void, if they attack south Korea, Japan or the USA. Be ready for the worst, but hope for the best.

The media and various "experts" keep talking about NK and Iran as if they are totally separate issues - not really. There's a whole axis of bad actors in play, which ultimately leads back to China itself. The Norks are a proxy storefront for China to buy, sell, trade and steal through, keeping Chicom fingerprints directly off such "transactions", while providing a buffer territory and foil for use between them and the rest of Pacific Asia. NK is also a good front for the Chicoms to live test their missile tech projects through. And nuclear - the last known official nuke weapon test by the Chicoms was on July 29, 1996, but you can bet Chicom scientists were all over if not actually running the blasting that went on in Norkland. So the Chicoms have to weight the choice of relieving themselves from the liability of supporting a economically draining welfare state versus that of greatly diminishing the viability of, if not losing, a strategic proxy asset. MAYBE Trump has managed to flip the script and transition NK into a liability headache for China, and there is no other way out now but to address it.

If true Trump should get the next 12 Nobel Peace Prizes

And refuse to accept, as it has been cheapened beyond measure.

Yesterday, @ThomasWictor said Trump & Kim are communicating via phone. Wonder if Trump suggested Kim do that? Either way, Kim’s trying to get on the good side of Trump.

He doesn't have to blow up anything.

All crazy little rocket boy has to do is pull just one out of hiding AFTER President Trump i's out of office (you are delusional if you don't think he has a few left), parade it in NK's version of Red Square, or fire off just one IBM again and then just THREATEN to nuke us, Japan (fill in the blank) "or else" and demand more billions in blackmail money to keep playing nice. If there is another wimp ala Obomination in the White House, the'll be crawling on their hands and knees to placate him lest he "start WWIII".

Millions like myself wouldn't be so skeptical if we hadn't seen this exact same scenario played out time and time again for decades!

Unless we are given unfettered access to every square inch of NK in our search to make sure little rocket boy has given up ALL of his nukes, there is absolutely no way to know for sure that he has.

As they have proven time and time again we certainly can't take the communist, Stalinist dictator's word for it because North Korea's "treaties" aren't worth the paper they're written on.

All little kimmy needs to do is shut up, and play nice until President Trump is out of office. He gets billions now and billions later once his threats begin again.

We must never forget we are dealing with a new Hitler, Stalin megalomaniac, who will say anything to stay in power, not an honorable man whose word is his bond.

See post 46. By the way, I haven't "moved the goal post", I'm just telling the truth. This is no reflection on President Trump, or his administration's negotiating skills.

Little rocket boy is nothing but another megalomaniacal dictator who will promise anything to stay in power. His entire country is kept in perpetual terror.

Millions of his own people are currently in gulags spread out all over the country undergoing the same torture and torments as Hitler and Stalin's camps and gulags, and worse.

I'm not "moving the goal post", just stating reality. History has proven that nothing will genuinely changes unless and until little kimmy is permanently dealt with.

Otherwise it's like keeping Hitler in power, asking him to "play nice" and not continue doing what he's been doing all along, and taking him at his word that he will.

Chamberlain played the same game. He trusted a dictator's word written on a piece of paper. The world rejoiced, gave a sigh of relief... and then 80 MILLION people died, and twice that number were permanently maimed physically or mentally traumatized for the rest of their lives.

Italy, Romania... etc proved the only path to genuine, real change in a brutal, terrorized state was to line their own maniacal dictators up against the wall and kill them.

Nothing is going to really change unless and until rocket boy is lined up against a wall and shot!

BS.. This isn't world war II. Hitler and Chamberlain are long dead. Get real. And if the people of NK want to string Kim up, that's North Korea's business. Not yours.

I'll be reminding naysayers, posers and those of you who project failure like the leftist do 24/7, that you were completely wrong and this guy will likely negotiate and give up his nukes.

And you are moving the goal posts. What is Trump supposed to do, go sit down with this guy and negotiate his nukes out of existence, and then line Kim up and shoot him as you suggested?

Not going to happen. No one buys that s**t. You're living in a dream state.

Not all of it leads to China. A vast majority of the missile capacity to go as far as they have has been supplied by Russia. I think they have a bigger pile of crap at stake than China at this point.

And the original supercomputers that wee shipped to NK were done by Bill Clinton in 1994/5 that were increased from industrial grade to weapons grade after they arrived under the guise of agriculture assistance and even the department of transportation here got a piece of the financial action. We’re just as filthy as anyone else. Toss in Pakistan for the technology and you’ve got a whole lot guilty of assistance. Russia for the projectile, us for the computers, Pakistan for the technol;ogy, and China for the MRV tracking program the US gave them by Clinton as a payoff for election funds in 1993 through Hughes Electronics and Loral Space and Communication of which they were ultimately fined millions for doing.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/missile/keystories.htm

So the libs and Clinton were in it up to their armpits. China was only stupid enough to get into it. And if they and Clinton hadn’t supplied MRV, NK couldn’t hit the ocean.

Historical info is nice, but what I know is, every time the Norks lit off a missile over the pacific, the Jap navy would zip out there and vacuum up every scrap of it, then put it all through forensic analysis - every speck would turn out to be Chicom. The last batch they lit off had advanced fibre-wound structural shells - Kimmie ain't building those in his garage. That takes a level of manufacturing tech sophistication that not just anyone would have the capability for. It's apparent the Chicoms have been using the Norks as cover to skirt a agreement, law or treaty or two to get in some real-time R&D testing.

You haven’t been paying attention to how Trump works - and neither have they if they think your thoughts have any possibility.

Remember a few weeks ago when there was a explosion near the China and North Korea boarder…..my sources tell me that North Korean’s tunnels are already destroyed….either by accident or whatever….… .so it’s already dismantled and or destroyed……… North Korea’s Foreign Ministry said Saturday that all the tunnels at the country’s northeastern testing ground will be destroyed by explosion and that observation and research facilities and ground-based testing units will also be removed.
What do you think???

I thought that was just a conceptual weapon, not that we actually had them deployed. Do you have any proof of that statement?

It kind of depends on which publication or news source you read. I know that the Russians have been supplying NK the technology for missiles from the middle range to the first ICBM since the early 80’s. The engines in the Hwasong-12, Hwasong-14 and Hwansong-15, which proved North Korea could now land a nuclear-armed missile on mainland USA, are close copies of a Soviet-era RD-250 powerplant which sources claim were supplied by Vladimir Putin.

And North Korea’s unprecedented leap from primitive Scud-like rockets to full-on space-capable Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, in just two years, has led further experts to conclude that the technology MUST have been smuggled in. And Moscow was known to have supplied technology for the regime’s dated Scud missiles in the 1980s and 1990s. They supply anyone detriment to the US situations, the latest Syria.

Chimney that opened up at the top of the test mountain. What does a 40 foot by one foot ceramic coated tungsten rod do when it hits something at 44000 fps? Entry wound. What does it do below? Liquefy all of it. I have done the math. Would cost about 2 billion per rod to orbit them. Even the deepest mine in the world would be destroyed top to bottom. Ashanti’s Mponeng would be done for. It is the big stick. Dig little jerks, but like that matters. We can get you.
