North Korea bans Bolton from talks

SEOUL — Pyongyang, calling a senior American official “human scum” for criticizing North Korea’s leader, banned him from U.S.-proposed multilateral talks on its suspected development of nuclear weapons.

North Korea said that it won’t deal with U.S. Undersecretary of State John Bolton because he described communist leader Kim Jong Il as a “tyrannical dictator” and said “life is a hellish nightmare” for many North Koreans.

Mr. Bolton made the remarks during a visit to South Korea last week.

“Such human scum and bloodsucker is not entitled to take part in the talks,” said a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman, according to the North’s official KCNA news agency.

“We have decided not to consider him as an official of the U.S. administration any longer nor to deal with him,” the unidentified spokesman said.

I like Bolton, but his sense off timing is just nuts. Given that no one has ever given up their nuclear weapons before, plus the “ great leader's “ sensitivity to insults, this s is hardly the time to go trashing him in South Korea no less. KEEP JOHN BOLTON THE HECK OUT OF THE NEGOTIATIONS. Let Pompeo, who finished first of in his class at West Point and first in his class at Harvard Law and is the extremely smart take the major roll in the negotiations. You get more with honey than with vinegar. Pompeo managed to get three US prisoners released last week without drama. Everything was going well until Bolton came blundering in.

Libya had a nuclear program but no nukes. South Africa got black majority rule from the whites. The blacks did not feel the need to use nuclear weapons to protect themselves from their black neighbors like the whites did.
Ukraine's nuclear weapons belonged to the Soviet Union and the Russians got all the Soviet nukes, including the nukes stationed in former Soviet states like Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. None off these apply to North Korea.
