yes
They can also use their head. The only way a player can use his hands if he is doing the throw in.
If a game ends in a tie, both teams repeat the next week.
I’m sad that it seems to be a less common thing in the civic sphere than in the sports sphere.

Lol, thanks for the link. Very funny:)
Being from Alabama, naturally Im a college football fanatic. I was so proud of the classy way that the Bama team conducted themselves while visiting the White House.
I agree about the timeouts and all the penalties. Becomes very tedious.
I dont get to see many soccer (football) matches but I actually enjoy them. I enjoy the European leagues more than the American MLS because its obvious how much the sport means to the fans.
Im looking forward to the World Cup.
I remember when I grew up in Germany my parents used to go every Sunday to the Soccer game in the town I was raised. There was a out door cafe above the playing field and my father watched the game from there.
Thank you.
Sounds as if you and your parents had some good times.
I became an Alabama fan after their entire National championship football team went respectfully to the White House. Somehow their visit got very little press. Congratulations to Alabama.
What is wrong with being a conservative?
The Nazis were a reaction to the commies ....
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I suspect that the fact that no one on the team protested is why the media ignored the visit. We didnt care though:)
Heres hoping we make yet another appearance at the White House next year. Roll Tide!
I do not want to go back to Germany, anymore because so much has changed.
My parents are gone for many years. My father wanted to visit us after he retired from his job as bookkeeper from the brewery in my hometown. Unfortunately he died in the hospital of my hometown (February 5, 1975) He had the flu there were no flu shots at that period. We were stationed at Fort Riley, KY. I will continue this conversation via Freepmail.
I am a Federalist, not a Nationalist. I believe in localized governments and the Federation of the States rather than an all powerfull centralized Nationalized government. I am for State rights and the 10th Amendment as intended. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/04/nationalism_versus_federalism.html
The problem with trying to be a conservative, is figuring out what to conserve. The dictionary definition of conservative is one who holds onto traditional values and is cautious about change. Well, guess what? Socialism has been creeping into American life for so long, that it is BECOMING the tradition. So somebody who wants to dismantle socialism is now no longer a conservative, he’s a radical.
As far as the Nazis were concerned, Nazi is short for National Socialist, with emphasis on the “socialist”. Nazis were all about total government. I’m about reducing government in order to enhance individual liberty.
You and I are mostly on the same page. When I say nationalist, it is in contrast to globalist. I care more about the people who I consider members of my nation, than those who are not part of my nation.
To the globalist, it is immoral to care more about your own family than about some third world stranger.
I figured so. I hope you had a good Memorial Day.
Trump swayed NFL owners on anthem rules, Kaepernick case depositions reveal!
The Wall Street Journal obtained depositions from NFL owners, including Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, as part of a grievance case filed by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
According to Jones deposition, reviewed by the Journal, the president personally told him, You cant win this one.
This is a very winning, strong issue for me, Trump reportedly said in a call with Jones. Tell everybody, you cant win this one. This one lifts me.
The feud between the White House and the NFL began in September 2017, when during a rally, the president suggested that if a player knelt or refused to stand for the anthem, the owner should get that son of a b—— off the field.
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross reportedly said in his deposition that he thought Trump changed the dialogue.
I was totally supportive of [the players] until Trump made his statement, Ross reportedly said.
Owner of the Houston Texans Bob McNair said he thought the presidents comments were inappropriate.
But McNair, Ross and Jones all reportedly acknowledged that the protests were financially hurting their teams.
Excerpted, go to the link below for full story on how we and President Trump kicked their $orry A$$es.
Any Freeper, who posts that our protests were not impacting the NFL owners, needs to have their brains MRIed to check on their brain injuries or they were/are paid NFL Trolls.
I am not a conservative. I am a nationalist. I am interested in the future of my children and grandchildren more than I am in conservative principles, and I will act to preserve the future of my kids, and my friends kids, by whatever means necessary.
Great tagline.
