Alexander Malkevich is an information warrior for Russia.
Over the weekend, he sat in an oyster bar in the basement of Grand Central Station in New York City and related to McClatchy the endless difficulties facing his English-language website, USA Really, which is financed by unnamed pro-Kremlin Russians.
USA Really has all the markings of a Russian troll factory trying to undermine U.S. democracy, spinning conspiracy theories, aggregated news and opinions with an aim to show America in a state of near-chaos. Facebook and Twitter have shut down its accounts. When Malkevich’s website called for a rally June 14 to support President Donald Trump, it fizzled for lack of a correct city permit.
Yet at the end of what Malkevich described as a five-day trip to promote USA Really in the United States, he voiced some satisfaction: “We have become a discussed project in American media. It is good,” he said.
In a lengthy interview, Malkevich mocked U.S. press freedom guarantees and said U.S. authorities feared him even as U.S. government-financed media, like Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, broadcast what he contended were a torrent of negative news about Russia.

The articles look mainstream but may be skewed to hype and inflame issues.
Americans are against each other on all fronts. We don’t need Russians to do that when there are enough race baiting pimps and haters out there.

I thought we had free speech and I can’t fathom how some internet articles will “undermine our democracy”. The ones discussing this seem to have little understanding of our democracy. They want illegals to be given rights but they want to stop foreigners from writing articles?
Can’t imagine any country undermining us more than Mexico. From within and without, and with endless propaganda.

That's the real reason Hillary came up with the Russia BS, she and her cabal are still pissed off over the golden goose of pillaging Russia was snatched away from them before it was picked clean. The last thing on earth they want is normalized relations with Russia that might include reciprocal extradition laws.
Whatever the case, the only people who ever fell for Soviet propaganda were the same people who are now the "elders" in the democrat machine. Truth be told they hate Russia for having gone out with a whimper instead of the bang of a nuclear war.

I think the point is for this Russian website to push stories conservatives are interested in so liberals can then denounce conservatives for having the same interests as Russians.
This means if conservatives support the same issues as reported on this website, the left can claim conservatives are falling for Russian propaganda.
Conservatives are put on the defensive.
It's a cleaver trick. One to be aware of. Liberals use it all the time to denounce conservative views.
It serves the same function of Conservative Republicans supporting nationalism when we all know Hitler supported nationalism.
Because many CR support nationalism, liberals can claim conservatives share the same opinions as Nazis.
It's a means to 'smear by association of like interests'.
It can be a bit tricky to counter because the left and the media are good at smearing conservatives with 'guilt by association' even if the association is simply an idea that crosses over.
McClatchy has become like a street junkie. Always looking for some little crappy person or organization to give them a “news fix” that they can disseminate.
I wonder where McClatchy was during the rabid leftist propaganda operations against American that occurred during the Obama Regime?

Russians are now pushing 'conservative news issues'.
If a Russian website reports the same news as conservatives, liberals can now claim conservatives are falling for Russian propaganda.

BBC, Reuters, DW, AFP, Al Jazeera.....produce tons of anti-Trump, anti-American conservative venom everyday, but the stupid author decided to blow a little known website out of proportion.
Anti-Russia McCrazies disguise themselves as Trump supporters. That is supposed to concern conservatives.
We don’t need Russians for that, plenty of Americans right here that will do the job.
Rachel Maddow is one of the most virulent anti-Russia propagandists on television today.
