I’m not an authority on this, but it’s my understanding that very few Planned Parenthood centers provide much other than abortion services.
There are places where there is a Planned Parenthood in a remote location, and they may be the only medical care in town. In those cases, it may be a problem if they are closed.
I believe there is private money out there to support Planned Parenthood if the government stops funding it.
Leftists sometimes talk real big about it not being a big deal if the government stops paying, as if they could replace the funds easily. Of course they also say it would be a calamity, so it’s hard to tell which is the truth.
Those are my thoughts on it.

that's okay, I'll recount the things about Lee, that some people don't know, have forgotten, or don't care about but should.
First of all Lee is a a #NEVERTRUMPER, who did NOT vote for Trump in the '16 election.
When he had the chance to vote to repeal ObamaCare, WHICH HE RAN ON AND CLAIMED THAT HE COULDN'T WAIT TO DO, he voted against the repeal Bill, thus killing it!
Though he has claimed to be a "TEAPARTY GOPER" and a "CONSERVATIVE", he has joined with Lindsay Graham & at other times with DEMS Dickie Durban ( a true arsehhole, if ever there was one!)and Leaky Leahy on going VERY soft on some criminals; to name but a few very large red flags.
Lee is a mendacious, phony, backstabbing GOPEer and he has NEVER served as a judge. Nor has he changed much fro his #NEVERTRUMPER days.
And most important of all...President Trump has a list of 24 others ( many of whom have far better credentials and are NOT well known #NEVERTRUMPERS !) to choose from; men and women far better suited to be the next the Justice picked to serve in the SCOTUS!
I suppose it might help to read the footnotes of the article to see what Mike Lee thinks re: the actions his ancestor was tried for at political expediency.

As Scott Adams has pointed out, Sen Lee does not believe that the Government should do anything about the Google/Facebook anti-conservative, discriminatory monopoly on Internet news & communication.

Sanders, for example, has been a spectacular Press Secretary; a much better one than most of her male predecessors! I have serious doubts you speak for anyone here at FR other than your pathetic self. You should refrain from the use of “We”. And then you speak for ALL women? Your not the spokesperson that Sarah is, and I doubt she should make such a bold claim.
At a count of 6 Catholics and 3 Jews, I think we’re are over the quota for both. The same as east coast & ivy league schools. Find me a ultra- conservative, pro 2A Hasidic jew perhaps I may reconsider. I am in favor of someone who is and will remain ABSOLUTELY solid ultraconservative, for their entire term. Give me a ultra constitutionalists Methodist or Baptist man, who will remain solid for 35+ years. I’m not in worry of them listening to a crazed leader. I’m not certain you understand that concept. Re religion, you are the one who is complaining about the makeup of the SCOTUS on a RELIGIOUS basis.
Just because the majority ( there ARE exceptions...a whole town of them, actually, whom Hillary bought off )of the Hasidim vote for GOPers, does NOT mean that you would care for their views on many things. And yes, I do know all about them!
The Orthodox Jews aren't a solid GOP/CONSERVATIVE voting block; though most do vote GOP. OTOH...the new, very weird Orthodox branch of Judaism that Ivanka and Jarred belong to are extremely LIBERAL and HATE her father.

PP does do breast screenings, what it does NOT do is the actual mammography. Just as when I go for my annual check up at Kaiser Permanente, my GP checks my breast for lumps, PP does that and whereas I would be referred to a different department, PP refers to a different provider. The point is that many of their services and referrals are low cost or helped financially, and for many poor women PP is an entry to the complicated and widely dispersed medical field. I just saw this. I’m not sure any state has legalized abortion have they? I have seen that it is illegal but the courts keep tossing it.
