That was almost 200 years ago... the population has grown, and the majority of the population don’t even care about the politics anymore (let alone, that most are scumbag lawyers.. unlike, back in the day, when most in the upper ranks were businessmen...).

Thankfully, there are more Americans now that care about the politics than there are her in Japan..
All they care about here (populous) is how good they look on posters.. and who is loudest in mini-vans with massive speakers 24\7 during election time :/

Be thankful that there are peeps that at least understand politics there (back home in the USA)..
Peeps here have NO clue (and don’t care).
The closest they had to “understanding”, was back in (I think it was 2008) when Izumi said he had a “Manifesto”... Peeps here cheered, but they had no idea what a “manifesto” was >.<

I wonder if this sort of thing happened in the late 70’s. Former hippies who now found themselves with jobs and families saw how Carter’s weakness and Lefty feel-goodism wasn’t going to work and saw an optimistic vision in Reagan.

I didn’t know that about Horowitz.

I was listening to Tammy on the radio AS she transformed. I heard her rants when she was a “feminist” head of the local NOW chapter, becoming disillusioned and fighting back. I at first listened her weekend show to hate it. But she started seeing the hypocrisy. And she took so much crap from feminists and other lesbians and she remained true to truth and logic. Ended up admiring her.
