If so, the money for this purchase could be a pay-off for the harm he seems to want to do POTUS
He folded because he lives and does business in the deep blue state of New York. Even if Trump pardoned him for federal charges, it wouldn’t save him from the NY AG’s office and doing a long stretch in state prison instead of a short stretch at ClubFed.
I view his plea as good news for Trump. All they’ve got is their novel interpretation of campaign finance law declaring NDAs are a violation.

The $130K payment to Stormy came from a $500K Heloc taken out on his Trump Tower condo. This makes me wonder if Trump had already paid him a huge retainer which he spent and then had to take out a Heloc to cover. I find it hard to believe Trump would say hide the payment by taking out a Heloc on your home..
