As he pleaded guilty in a Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday to violating federal campaign finance laws, Michael D. Cohen, President Trump’s longtime fixer, put his future in the hands of the American legal system.
But the fate of Mr. Trump, the man who Mr. Cohen said directed him to break the law by making payments to a pornographic film actress and a former Playboy model, rests, in all likelihood, in the political arena and in the halls of Congress.
At least for now, the Republican Party continues to stand by the president. But with only weeks until the midterm elections, the question will soon be put before voters, who will decide whether to hand Congress — and the power of investigation, subpoenas and, possibly, impeachment — to the Democrats.

Media want to see the Trump presidency undermined and Trump impeached. That is the strategy. No one cares about supposed tax evasion from 5 years ago before Manafort even knew Trump. No one cares about whether Cohen is lying.
What law?

Amazing how many people can simultaneously bang on one drum.
The only courtroom the left has a chance with is the court of public opinion, so that is what they are running with. It depends on that court being woefully uninformed.

Cohen, the guy who didn’t actually commit a crime, but who was induced to plead guilty to the crime he didn’t commit, is now willing to say that Trump encouraged him to take the action which was not a crime.
And for this, President Trump shall surely be impeached! It’s all over now , Baby!

Let me guess, the more dramatic a headline like this from the media, the more likely it is really much ado about nothing?
And the predictable media hate storm now focuses on building another case out of nothing. The country responds with a collective yawn. Another day, another lie.

That part is quite obviously made up out of whole cloth, since it’s required to even attempt to make look Trump bad with this. So we will hear that tired line thousands of times, shouted from the rooftops. Then the fact that it is not true will be whispered later.

They are no more going to impeach Trump than they would’ve Obama, and for the same reason. No one wants a civil war. The last one was horrific in the age of one shot and reload muskets with limited range. Imagine one in the time of automatic, semi-automatic rifles, pistols and shotguns, much less anti-tank weapons, modern artillery and explosives. Even Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer aren’t that stupid.
Cohen didn’t even say that. That’s what the lying, enemy of the people, filthy deranged media said.
Cohen never literally said “Trump told me to make an illegal campaign contribution.”
He said that he was acting with the “coordination and direction.”
In other words, If Trump said, “Let’s just get an NDA” That is NOT a direction to “commit a crime” rather a direction.
Trump doesn’t control the manner in which Cohen accomplishes the directive.
The lying, enemy of the people, media simply put their own spin on what Cohen said.
The American people are going to have even less patience for this than they had for Bubba’s impeachment.
If would also be a war without fronts or territory.
There are no Republican states or Democrat states. The best you can do in most places is have the cities against the suburbs.
Yep, and some did it better than others, I believe NorDUH O'Donnell did it best on CBS "This Morning" as she screeched that Trump ordered Cohen to commit high crimes and misdemeanors and should be impeached immediately.
