They did report comments from Paul Ryan:
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Thursday that he has "no reason" to dispute the finding that nearly 3,000 people died as a result of Hurricane Maria, despite President Trump doing so earlier in the day.
“Casualties don’t make a person look bad,” Ryan told reporters at a press conference, according to Reuters. “I have no reason to dispute these numbers.”

And what responsibilities do the Puerto Ricans bear? Are they too stupid to realize that they live on the mainline for hurricanes and tropical storms? The Socialists in charge in PR used the hurricane as a political hammer and let their own people do without food and water and other needed supplies just to try to make President Trump look bad. The supplies were there, the PR authorities would not hand them out.
President Trump has every right to set the story straight. People here need to know the truth, people in Puerto Rico need to know the truth—everyone needs to know the truth.
Why does Jeb think the truth should not be told about what happened?
