If you think Jill’s face is scary ugly, check out Katz’s (Ford’s and Bill Rapist Clinton’s attorney). FUGLY doesn’t begin to describe the hideousness.

“Kavanaugh’s direct statement in denial is key to the destruction of Blasey-Ford’s tale. Coupled with the changing nature of her yarn, the direct denial, alongside the explicit contradiction the described behavior as witnessed to by at least 65 females who knew Kavanaugh from that time, promises that Blasey-Ford will indeed be “destroyed” by the falling weight of her self-constructed house of cards.”

Amen - and here’s hoping Judge K. has his own version of Justice Thomas’ “high-tech lynching” statement ready to go for Monday. He has nothing to lose by going “all-in” to call out such shady and libelous tactics with sketchy information from 4 decades ago. His statement should call the committee and the Senate to account for losing control of their process to those with an anti-government agenda.

His statement should avoid any flavor of responding to the charges which are merely a version of “when did you stop beating your wife?” He should boldly proclaim his record of community service and judicial decisions that have stood for review. Also point out the numerous times he has undergone an FBI background check without the slightest hint of impropriety. While never attacking his accuser directly, the background checks, the intervening time, and the support letter from 65 female classmates should be pushed at every instance as evidence contrary to a charge from a “recovered memory” from the mists of time and an alcohol-fueled party.

For those who give any weight to the potential for him to be impeached from his current seat on the appeals bench, I seriously question that the Senate could muster the necessary 2/3 vote to do so, even if they win in November, which I consider very unlikely. This entire episode ought to ensure the three at-risk D seats, Manchin et al, become a rout for the R candidates. If I were one of those candidates, this entire episode would feature strongly in my advertising and campaign speeches.

Some of us are disgusted that the defenders of scum like the Clinton’s and Al Franken are destroying an honorable man and his family for their political power. Sadly this is a standard play in the liberals book and has been used to great effect by the Clinton’s. Look at the liberal hand wringing and delay about Franken when there was photographic proof of his lewd behavior. Hillary and the elites of Hollywood wined and dined with Harvey Weinstein and liberals lined up to take his donations with never a care about his well known despicable treatment of women. Teddy Kennedy is a liberal saint despite of his assault and abuse of women going back decades. Bill Clinton is similarly anointed despite a semen stained blue dress and a long list of assaults. This hypocrisy can only backfire against the liberals.

The Demmies grope for a last straw, fixating on the forlorn hope that to delay is to conquer. If they get a little Flakey RINO help, maybe they can turn it into a Roy-Moore-type upset.

The time to stop this is NOW.

Most of you don’t get it. Americas political problems are terminal. Voting out way out of this is like treating stage 4 cancer with aspirin. There is only one way to fix this problem which is what we were going to do before Trump came in. He at least has lowered the numbers of idiots we have to deal with.

Sorry, my iPad auto correct and Siri are messing up my text. My point is that senators might approach Ford as if they are performing to a judge or jury, when they are instead being watched by the media and public. How they might question under the eye of a judge is very different than how they might question under the glare of lights and cameras. I am not confident that they can adjust and successfully question Ford.

Feinstein has issued a statement that basically gives it away - Ford isn't going to appear. Here's what Feinstein said this morning, after Grassley said yesterday that both she and Kavanaugh will be given an opportunity to testify on Monday:

The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday morning criticized the FBI and White House for “failing to take even the most basic steps” to investigate an allegation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a woman when they were both in high school.

Feinstein also drew comparisons between the current scenario and how allegations made by Anita Hill 27 years ago were handled. Hill came forward with sexual harassment allegations during the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas.

"In 1991, five days after Anita Hill's allegations of sexual harassment became public against her wishes, the Judiciary Committee held three days of controversial hearings. Now, just one week after Christine Blasey Ford shared her story, Republicans want to repeat past mistakes, rushing the process to hold a hearing,”

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/su...icans-making-same-mistakes-anita-hill-n910546

If Feinstein is already comparing having Ford testify on Monday to Anita Hill, and saying that Monday's hearing would be "repeating past mistakes", there's no way it's going forward.

Looks to me that Grassley called their bluff, and it is going to work.

This is truly a shameful episode. I do not believe Feinstein for one minute about her reasons for withholding the letter for weeks and her failure to disclose its existence or ask relevant questions about Kavanaugh during the Judiciary Committee Hearings.

We all know that Schumer held meetings to strategize as to how to discredit Kavanaugh with protests in the gallery and it seems incredible that Feinstein, Harris, Booker, Durbin, et alia, were not aware of this smear tactic before it was revealed. At a minimum, Feinstein’s actions need to be scrutinized and she ought to face discipline for her conduct.

“We are not playing politics anymore and will use all methods no matter how vicious they may be to preserve the Republic.”

Yeah! Just look at all the grand juries, all the indictments, all the perp walks, all the trials, all the convictions, all the incarcerations. Yep, it’s a whole new political world.

If this hearing takes place, it should be made public and the accuser should be under oath because of how all this has played out and because of her “fuzzy” memory about the year, the time and the place where this was alleged to have happened. This is very unfair to Judge Kavanaugh who denies the accusations, because her lack of memory makes it impossible for him to prove that he was not in that place, in that year, at that time. When I was in Middle School, I witnessed a girl hit a boy over the head with a broomstick, giving him a concussion. She excused her violence because she said he was “telling tales about her.” The injured boy did not even know her. Seems that she had a crush on him and could not get his attention. She later was found to have Borderline personality problems. I do not know what her punishment was, but it was not severe. However, no one wanted to be her friend after that. I cannot help but think about that event as I watch all this come against the Honorable Judge Kavanaugh. In my view, the reputation of the Senate is on trial here. It is a crime to our system to even pursue this. The alleged crime is too old and too unsustainable to acknowledge.

It’s time to reset the rule of law by military intervention. It’s coming and POTUs authorized this in EO signed 21 Dec 2017. We at least have a track record by the establishment that will justify this course of action.

“As Anita Hill was destroyed? Destroyed by a succession of cushy academic positions.”

And, unfortunately, she was just named by our mutual alma mater, Oklahoma State, as a member of the Distinguished Alumni and recognized as such at last Saturday’s football game. While every other honoree appeared on the field, she did not so I think she knew better than to show up for a thorough round of jeers that would have embarrassed the other members. I guess I have to give her credit for that, especially since I’m well-acquainted with one of the other honorees and I would have hated that for him.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit to meeting Anita Hill while we were both at OSU. Hill was a high-school classmate of an acquaintance who introduced us. I only interacted with her that one time.

We who have any morals and decency left, shudder at what that woman, the media and adults in dem congress is showing Kavanaugh’s 2 little girls. The dems have been their worst for those girls to witness. What must they think after all last week, then to do this to their father.
