I would assume it would have to be public... There is no point in it being private... the Dems can’t pontificate and get the sound bites they want out there, or her accusations on tape..... If its a private testimony, then even after the hearing you have nothing more than her letter... and whatever senators decide to leak....
This thing is a circus and a show, nothing more... transparent character assassination....
you have what amounts to, even if true, a drunken interaction by teenagers, with no witnesses, or even people who can corroborate that this party ever happened, let alone the incident.... And another alleging drunken public behavior at a college party that no one else can attest to seeing either...
This is a big nothing burger... and the longer it drags on the more ridiculous the allegations will become as they try to find something to stop it.... hell you have a porn stars lawyer now claiming that Kavanaugh ran a “Rape Ring” for crying out loud.... This is a circus.
Hold the hearing Thursday, and vote it to the floor... Let the dems and their minions throw out all the crazy they like the public is seeing right through all this.... Kavanaugh isn’t backing down, Trump isn’t going to cave... All this crap and whackadoo left wing nonsense is doing the one thing Republicans haven’t been able to do.... Motivate the non traditional MAGA voters to start paying attention and are likely going to show up en mass in a few weeks to smack the Dems down hard...
Trump and the GOP should be framing this for what it is, especially as in their desperation the allegations get crazier and crazier... and that’s an attempt to overturn the 2016 election. ...
Dems have taken what should have been a relatively easy take back of the house, and are on path, if the GOP doesn’t cave, and starts offering the right messaging, into not only the GOP holding the house, but very likely winning seats.
This is a fustercluck of the Dems making... the GOP just needs to keep its spine and wits, and enjoy the Dems hanging themselves...

I don’t think they will be shaken, just not sure what its needed for. These allegations are joke, and no thinking person who isn’t a partisan hack is going to think a mans life should be destroyed over a teenage high school situation that even if it did happen, and there seems to be no indication that it did, amounts to sadly what happens when teens get drunk. The “new” allegation is even more unbelievable.. as a woman wants to believe at a drunken college party he whipped his member out into her face in public, but no one else there can recall it happening....

Don’t believe me? Unless your 70 or 80 year old mother or grandmother is a hard core political person, just go ask them what they think fo this... and I bet you less than 1 in 10 will buy that this should be something that the Senate should be spending time on, let alone put a nomination at risk.

This is great. Just like the stellar job he did during the hearing, I’m confident he will say the right thing in the right way, and will give Deplorables more confidence that his nomination will get through this persecution.
Seeing his wife there will show there are women who respect Judge Kavanaugh. Many have already spoken out on his behalf.
He’s had a week to think about what he would say to these charges. I just trust the guy’s impeccable reason and tact.
