As the final two weeks of campaigning begin, Democrats hold an edge in both the gubernatorial and Senate contests in the key state of Florida, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. Democratic nominee Andrew Gillum holds a wide 12-point edge over his Republican opponent Rep. Ron DeSantis in the race for governor, while the Senate contest is a closer matchup with incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson at 50% to Republican Gov. Rick Scott's 45%.

If De Santis loses to the Marxist, the next four years will be fun.

GTFO and VOTE, Floridians! If you hand Gollum the ring, he will hand it to his master Sauron Soros, and Florida will never be the same.

You know what its said about polls like this... they’re designed to shape public opinion, not to reflect it.

DeSantis has the worst campaign staff in history! Ron will win but he should be walking away with this race.
After the election the names of his campaign staff should be out and never allowed anywhere near R candidates.

DeSantis wasted the first 3 weeks of the campaign doing nothing but running a terrible ad that said nothing but.. “I will always go to bat for Florida” He sounded bad..he looked bad...and the ad was total waste of money, especially when he should have used those weeks to paint Gilliam as the socialist that he is; instead he basically let him off the hook.

I voted for DeSantis in the primary, but I can tell you right now, unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat, he is going to lose. Putnam would have nailed Gilliam to the wall by now. DeSantis is going to down as the idiot that handed the the 3rd largest state machine to a Socialist 2 years before 2020.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

It will be BAD, BAD news since Florida’s next governor and not incumbent Gov. Rick Scott, will get to pick three new justices to the state Supreme Court.

CNN polled their entire viewing audience in Florida (both viewers), and they firmly and unflinchingly stand by their polling results.

I live here and if it wasn’t for FR I wouldn’t know DeSantis was running. Invisible campaign. At first I thought no way a demsoc advocating state income tax could possibly win. I guess DeSantis thought so too cuz he’s been napping w Sessions somewhere far as I can see.

Every local poll here in Florida shows both races within 1-2 points...

I hope this isn’t true.

I don't think Scott and DeSantis are losing by this much. But I think the races are in a dead heat or the Dems are leading by a few points.

But this goes back to my earlier point. Most of these races across the country are in a dead heat. There is no coherent message or aggressive politicking from the Republicans. You got Trump doing it all holding his rallies; why can't DeSantis and Scott and other Republicans in FL hold their own rallies, for example? What is stopping them from doing so?

No wonder why Trump said he's not going to be responsible if Republicans lose. All Republicans running should be running ads showing mobs of leftists beating up people, showing video footage of Venezuela, and explaining how Democrat policies will destroy America and for the next 2 years there'll be all kinds of investigations into Trump while Clinton/Deep State will be ignored. There is no sense of urgency from the Republicans.

Not from FLA, but Realclear Politics average has Gillum ahead by 3.4 %, and all polls in average were 1% Gillum, except the CNN poll at 12. A total outlier.

Senate race has average poll at 1.3% for Nelson.

“After the election the names of his campaign staff should be out and never allowed anywhere near R candidates.”

His ads sound like he is running for city council. He is a huge disappointment...I actually believe he is way over his head and it shows through in his ads.

Another obvious attempt to change the RCP average of polls.

Poll taken just days before (4) and with a much larger sample has Desantis trailing by one point

DeSantis is like McCain.... I expect him to tell voters they having nothing to fear from Gollum and then he will mail it in.

Because campaigning against a Black Marxist is tantamount to being accused of racism.

Shades of 2008. Let’s hope the polls are wrong.

If Republicans don’t want to win, then its not Trump!s fault. He has tried to drag them over the finish line.

The rest is up to them.
