How mand polling companies are using a model that reflects the current actual vote electorate? NONE BECAUSE THEY ARE RAN BY LIBERALS. NO MODEL HAS A 43 TO 40 REPUB TO RAT BREAKDOWN

A note of caution: Party registration very often does not correspond to a voter’s choice on the ballot.

If I see one person, in the event of a Republican loss in either of these races, say that there must have been voter fraud because we were ahead in the early voting, I will bust a gasket.

I think it’s safe to say among those Democrat ballots are votes for DeSantis over Gillum. Just a hunch, but I think a lot of white Florida Democrats will vote for Bill Nelson plus their congressmen and local Democrats, but vote against Gillum. I think Andrew Gillum is too radical even for them!

FDE (Florida) revises “Early Vote’ total..Republicans now lead by over 81,000 votes (Includes Mail-In & Early Voting). Those “Early Voting” Republican counties that just kicked-in, are on fire!!!

Trump defeated & destroyed the entire Republican Establishment Political Party and it is now high time that the Florida voters...”all of them”, regardless of political slant, defeat & politically destroy the entire “failed” Democrat Establishment & Progressive political party!!! Go, Trump, GOP & all like Americans!!!

Your theory has the ring of truth to it. I could see older white Dems split thier vote. voting for a radical Marxist for Governor might be to much for them.

Volusia County, FL is bellwhether. Yesterday day 1 of early voting there. Just from yesterday EV, Ignoring independents,

Reps 52.5%
Dems 47.5%

That’s a great indicator. As LS points out, dems usually take early voting. Today should be great, too, due to after church population.

Volusia totals EV plus absentee, ignoring independents,

Reps 53.9%
Dems 46.0%

Independents will go for Reps no less than 50%. Florida will stay Red by 5-8%. DeSantis maybe toward the lower, Scott the upper of that.

Are you stupid? The overwhelming of ref dems and reps vote for their party.

Except in southern states where dems often vote for republicans

Query?

How is it known which mail in votes are Democrat and which are Republican in a general election?

The registration of the voter is used to determine the number of R vs D voters. Nobody knows how the the votes pan out on mail-in ballots (except for the ones the Dems keep in the trunk of their cars as tie breakers).

Rs LOST about 3k yesterday, but this is to be expected with early walk in voting. R lead is 70,415. It was about 23k in 2016, so this is an overperformance so far of 46,000 votes with FOUR FL counties not voting.

The outside of the return envelope has a barcode or QR code on it which identifies the voter. This is scanned on reception and the voter registration list gets updated to indicate that person has voted. This is done to prevent people from voting absentee and then voting again in person.

A simple tally of the voter registration list the next day will provide the counts that you see published.

On a related matter. When looking at the Florida elections website, there will be a large number of VBM ballots not returned.

Why? Well, some people just choose not to vote. Others will go vote in-person EV instead or vote on election day.

Souls to the polls I thought was a democratic thing. Are you saying that republicans participate in this too?

No. as I keep saying, TX doesn’t register by party, so there will be none. All you can do is guesstimate based on turnout in key counties, blue vs. red.

Four very blue counties were trailing 2016 last I looked.
