Did the punishment fit the crime?
Do you believe in any random punishment by a teacher?
You remind me of the people in the 90's who set up camps to deal with problem kids.
Kids were beaten, denied medial care and died.
We don't have those camps anymore for a reason.
There's nothing wrong with disciplining a child for an infraction but the punishment should be appropriate not random abuse.

Not a reason to be made to stand in the Rain in the Low 40’s for 30 minuets.
If that coach is black and the Kid white then a Racial Discrimination Suit needs to be Filed.
