I think you’re being too optimistic about Mitt. He’s already sounding off about “climate change”.

The Concealed Weapons Carry Licensing Division was shifted away from a true Lib/anti-gun demonrat Sec. of State. The FL Dept. of State (which has responsibility for all licensing— medical, barbers, cosmetologists, etc.) at one time included the application and maintenance of Concealed Carry Weapons (very specific weapons, including firearms).

The Conservative (Panhandle dems, and all Repubs) the State Legislature voted (and still has the authority to do so) to move the responsibility to the Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs (the full title)— because Agriculture people in the State (farmers and horse raisers, cattlemen) are rural businesses and are huge supporters of personal firearms. They added the “Consumer Affairs” to the title at that time— to also incorporate urban concealed weapons carriers and professionals (security guards, bodyguards, private detectives etc.).

If this loony lib (whose priority for Agriculture—from her web site-—is “medical marijuana cultivation” (which btw, cannot BE cultivated, and won’t be)— gets in, the first session will remove this Division from Agriculture— put it most likely in Treasury or... better..give the power to the Gov. to create an agency all it’s own. She can’t be allowed access to millions of license holder’s data— to be “breached” (as in, hacked for libs) to target owners for confiscation (as is being confidently predicted and agenda’d in Californication, run totally by leftist/marxist loons.

Yay! Now lock Snipes up. Gollum, too, if he hasn’t disappeared. No reason yet. But he’s guilty of something, and any day now the evidence will be uncovered. He just seems sleazy.

There is the Mississippi Special Election in December where another Senate seat gets decided.

You bring up Romney, so if he opts to be a third there, and it is a 50-50 tie, then Pence votes.

Absolutely dead on target as to the demographic realities of FL. Additionally, one should mention the power base that is Conservative “Hispanic” (Hierarchy pyramid being Cuban-Americans, then Argentinian, then Puerto Rican, then Mexicans (waaay down the list for the top 3) then Colombians, then Brazilians. A separate category altogether are Haitian/Americans who LOVE Trump, hate the Clintoonians and thus democrats generally- and are aggressive merchant/shop owner/small business people, generally devout Christians.
An important minority in Central FL are the Asian (Primarily Vietnamese, and Korean)— and they too are in no way Libs. Largely Catholic Christian in orientation.

Full panhandle turnout would have added at least 40k more votes for Scott and probably Caldwell— who should continue his SUIT against Broward-— because this was where Parkland shooting happened and the libs focused on the Ag race in their “go to” fraud counties because of .... guns! That and the pot lobby money going to the Fraud, Fried. she’s not going to last.

Here in Nevada it is “shall issue” and the county sheriff administers the program. The state level would be a concern to me.

Yes. Bay county was devastated by Michael, and did a decent job at turnout regardless, but they were still way off the rest of the State in turnout.

I think there probably are 40-50K votes in the panhandle for 2020.

Scott won even though he lost Pinellas and Duval, which isn’t really supposed to happen.

He did much better than Trump did in Miami-Dade, so I think many of the Cuban voters down there are seeing that MAGA is much better than they were told by the media.

Yes, even just from a State of Florida perspective DeSantis needs to say there is no way this nonsense has gone on in Florida since 2000. It is getting cleaned up and now for 2020. Put the pressure on I agree. There is no way an election should be this out of hand in the 21st Century. DeSantis should go on and say Florida will have COMPETENT officials running the election 2 years from now.

It was a combination of the hand recount, overseas ballots and illegally “cured” ballots as a result of the Federal Judge’s order.

2500K shouldn’t happen in a recount. Florida does need to revamp their election process and remove the Snipes nonsense from the equation before 2020.

To: TexasGurl24; All

I read one yesterday that reminded us that a few weeks back we had a Mega-Millions Lottery with MILLIONS of people buying tickets all over the USA.

Within FOUR HOURS, they knew who won the jackpot, which state it was in and which store sold the ticket.

Maybe the Lottery people should take over our elections! ;)

True. But Cali has 39 million residents, so its vote total should be huge. Cali has a bit more than 1 out of every 8 residents in the US. That is a lot of people and a large percentage, too...over 12%.

Are you saying that it is unfair Cali's vote is too big? Cali has always counted its absentee ballots that way - for many many decades. They count it after the polls close and usually start the day after the election.

Trump had the popular vote on election night, but everyone knew he would lose it because a number of states count absentee ballots or vote by mail ballots after the polls close.

I understand what you are saying that if you take away Cali and NY votes then Trump won the popular vote. True, but the last time I checked those two states are two of the 50 states and shouldn't their votes count, too?

That is why we have the electoral college, so big states like Cali and NY don't dictate to the rest of the nation. So it worked on election night.

If Trump wins in 2020, it will be via electoral victory again. I don't see Trump winning a popular vote victory in 2020. His victories in states he wins are fairly narrow (except the south) and he gets trounced big time in states like Mass, NY, Cali, etc. I don't see that changing. Trump lost VA by a huge 250,000 and had fairly narrow victories in NC, GA and FL. He will be the only person elected president not to win a plurality of the votes.

But back to Cali, those election counts go on for weeks and has for decades - they take their time....9 to 5, but so many vote by mail in Cali, I'm not surprised.

You would not last 10 seconds at the annual Pan American Medical Association Meeting-— comprised of those “wetback” Plastic surgeons, cardiologist, Board Certified Internist from Major medical schools, Neurosurgeons/Neurologists, Family Pracititioners, and Ob-Gyns and EMS specialists. Professional highly educated people.

Nor would you do well at the American Society of Chemical Engineers,FL Chapter, which is comprised of many different background professional engineers with a huge contingent coming from Puerto Rico from back when billy coke nose clinton removed the special tax district for major pharma manufacturers, and they moved to Ireland, thus putting some 900,000 pro industrial engineering specialists out of work— and they moved either to Ireland, or Central and S. FLorida and Texas.

Don’t confuse your bigotry with proper demographics in re: political power of the so-called “hispanic” population. Will add that these professionals in my personal experience speak many more languages than Spanish and English (like Italian, German, Russian- esp. escaped Cuban doctors, French and yes— Gaelic Irish).

Ok, “Einstein”? BTW Shalala is a byproduct of UMiami and specifically the lesbo/queer cabal located there that began with Janet Reno. Shalala is hated by Cuban medical professionals particularly since she ran HHS under billy coke nose clinton. Capice?

sailor, Your mischaracterization of FL Hispanics is rather telling. Floridians of spanish heritage are not wetbacks as many descend from European Spaniards not the native people of the Americas.

The valuable information that our Texas friend has posted has been forwarded to Matt Caldwell’s campaign staff. Hopefully they can dissect the fraud and Caldwell will prevail.
