Yep. For heavens sake! Why can’t you understand they need the tax money.
Our state had a “raise the gas tax” initiative on the ballot. The governor was on TV pleading about toxic air due to emissions...BUT we do not actually have toxic air, not much industry, far fewer people than CA,
Actually the gas tax would go toward supporting illegal immigrants flooding the place since he declared it a sanctuary state.
Fortunately, it was resoundingly voted down.

“The Ruling Class simply cant have the Peasants roam around the country however they please, whenever they please.”
Several years ago I was listening to a CSPAN recording and a senator said, “We simply can’t allow every American to have an air conditioner.” I live in Florida in a mobile home. I own several mobile homes that I rent. You can’t live in a mobile home without an air conditioner. It’s like living in a toaster oven. I was very angry as I’ll bet this pompous ass has never worked a day in his life.
The thing that juiced the American economy from the 1940’s on was how cheap energy was. The cheaper energy is, the faster GDP grows. Make gas a dollar a gallon and watch the economy explode.

The citizens of rural France are harmed by these fuel tax increases, not the elites or the globalists. Sad.

Haha seems like Macron’s words and actions have struck a chord with the French middle class. How’s that for patriotism you little dweeb. Seems like all hailing the greater good of New World Order and dealing with climate change isn’t as important to the French bourgeoisie as one may have thought given the way they voted. Not when it’s their money your taking.

I Love Paris
Every time I look down on this timeless town
Whether blue or gray be her skies
Whether loud be her cheers or whether soft be her tears
More and more do I realize that
I love Paris in the springtime
I love Paris in the fall
I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles
I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles
I love Paris every moment
Every moment of the year

The best economic argument for a carbon tax is that the market price of goods and services resulting in carbon emissions fail to include the true social and environmental costs of carbon emissions. When the "best economic argument" for something isn't an economic argument, you are doing something wrong...

The Left wants the rest of America to cease exhaling CO2.
In fact, if they truly believe this BS, they should volunteer themselves to stop producing CO2. Lead the way progressives.

Sire! The peasants are revolting!
Yes, they stick on iceI
The urban elites wont be eating much cake when the peasants stop paying carbon taxes to grow it and transport it.
