In all my years at Free Republic, I have not been called out once by an admin, but I have found myself wandering into those waters recently. A very good reminder, Jim, to keep a civil tongue (or keyboard) when posting here. We’re all pushing the boulder (for the most part) in the same direction, and it’s easier if we’re all behind the boulder instead of in front of it.

Got it Jim. I know I get really heated sometimes but I love everyone here and think of them as an extended family.

I am not a never Trumper either. I know it may seem that way but I would speak out to anyone I think is hurting me, mine and the rest of the God fearing and loving Americans in this country.

I can also admit when I am wrong about a situation too.

Without us this country would've gone to hell much faster.

FR is a useful news aggregator; but I generally do not see comments here that contain need-to-know information. Twitter and Gab are not as good as FR for news aggregation, but are far better for discussions, since 1) that's where the general public is (who need to hear our message) and 2) that's where the knowledgable people are (who post need-to-know information).

If FR were further optimized as a news aggregator, I think it would be more useful. I'm suggesting something like automatically checking for redundancies, enhancing searching and sorting, organizing multiple articles on the same event into one bin, etc. IMO the whole commenting system can be dropped if this makes things simpler.
