Deep State wins over some Trump supporters.
Took two years, but they’ve done it. Back on board with the elites.

I gave Trump the benefit of the doubt after last year’s budget disaster. And expect better this year. I’ll wait til it’s done, but if it’s like last year, my enthusiasm for Trump will be way down. Still above any other politician I can think of but way down.
I love so many other things he’s doing, but on the budget I may put him with Ryan. Ryan gave lots of GREAT interviews on budget for 10 months after he became speaker. Then delivered on NOTHING he promised - not even close - for the rest of his term (didn’t even deliver a single budget, which should be the house’s number one job, but we got a bunch of omnicrap).
We can’t let Obama, or Ryan, or Trump rewrite history. It’s less than a year since we had lots of excuses and promises that “next year will be different”. If it’s not different we should be pissed, and not just say “he’s doing good in other areas”. The budget matters. And the things we elected Trump to do matter (e.g. the wall).

The sad thing is that there are so many here on FR who have already declared him dead. Don’t you love it when so-called Trump supporters give up on him after less than two years, and do exactly what the libs want them to?

Plenty of them here on FR. Just as weak-kneed as the Congressional Republicans they thrash every day.

We can see with our own eyes! You disparage us as an ignorant pack because we wont blindly follow with baited breath, a hushed tone, a faint whisper for the next tweet? No one did it but our President himself. On this issue he painted himself into a corner by trusting in those thousands of tweets. Tweets dont lead they just bloviate. Using your bully pulpit in the first 6 months to incessantly slam Congress on the wall would have sent a message. But no he signed an omnibus informing the public never again and here we are again its Groundhog Day. Instead this time he doesnt have Congress and we wont get our wall.

Not mad at Trump. Not in the least. Mad at Congress. Thumb-suckers and hand-wringers all of them. I'll do my part at the ballot box in 2020 to help drain the swamp. But in the meantime,
We the People are expressing our demands to Congress quite clearly at
https://www.gofundme.com/TheTrumpWall. Eighty thousand people have voted with their wallets. This is not "Dumbledore's Army". This is "Trump's Army". And it is growing rapidly as word spreads. When the time comes for the battle scene at the end of the movie, know that you are not alone.

Yep Trump is dead politically if he doesnt veto this bill. I wont vote for him! Yea, because our chances of fixing the border mess are so much better with a Dem president, right?
To: R_Kangel
.... Well ... Actually as per Drudge ..... Trump Vows to VETO over the Wall: " ..... I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure, unless it has perfect Border Security. U.S.A. WINS! Trump said he wouldn't sign any of the Democrat's legislation. He didn't rule out signing the Republican's continuing resolution that will be passed before the Democrats take control of Congress.

"The Republican president was foiled in the Senate by members of his party, who refused to grant him any of the $5bn (£4bn) he wants for a US-Mexico wall."
Some voters who gave him a weak Congress are mad, because he didn't contribute the money to pay for it himself. Not that it would help, with Congress having control over how the money is spent.
But it's still his fault according to Democrats who pretend to be conservatives, and they've managed to dupe some conservatives who follow their emotions instead of getting educated about how our government works.
Yeah, the coup of the radical left might be successful after all, thanks to their useful idiots.

"Supporters of US President Donald Trump have turned on him after he was yet again denied funding for a border wall.
Um, why would we be mad at the President when others denied funding. The problem is THEM."
We've told them. They know the truth of the matter now, so I suspect their motives and question their real positions.

So was it Democrats that pretend to be conservatives who signed that omnibus saying never again until he gets his wall?
So was it Democrats that pretend to be conservatives who did not use their political capital to get the wall his first 6 months in office by constantly slamming Congress?
So was it Democrats that pretend to be conservatives that allowed Russia hoax to fester by not firing Sessions the day he refused himself thus hamstringing his presidency and relegating it to tweets? The tweets remind me of simplistically pleasing the masses when other leadership elements are failing. The Romans did that well with the Coliseum.
So was it Democrats that pretend to be conservatives who told Chuck and Nancy in front of the world he would shut down the Government only to slightly backtrack 48 hours later?
So was it Democrats that pretend to be conservatives when the FISA warrant was to be released unredacted and the texts between Strozk and Page? Interesting, it must be Democrats pretending to be conservatives who are squelching any further mention of either of these items. Have you heard another peep about it?

It appears youve upset the blindly following, never utter a word of criticism or question, hero worshipping contingent of the party.

I think Trump is trying to decide whether to run for a second term. Concern that he'll cave on this, combined with his first two years becoming the Great Age of Social Media Censorship, has his star in free-fall.

This is a movement. Turncoats are not welcome and will be turned away. Regret awaits them.

Don't shoot the messenger. The only one making libs happy is Trump
I hope you realize that even if the wall was built, there's still the small matter of all the anchor babies who will be eligible to vote in 2020.
I don't know how many but the last election was won by 80,000 votes and I'm sure the other side will have 3x or 4x that many. Probably a lot more.
Trump also promised to revisit the 14th Amendment, but since he can't even get a wall, I'm not holding my breath.
So you better be ready, and you better have a plan B because once Trump is gone, they're going to put us in a world of hurt.

"A young girl alone in the world" donated "60 cents, the result of self denial."[88] One donor gave "five cents as a poor office boy's mite toward the Pedestal Fund." A group of children sent a dollar as "the money we saved to go to the circus with."[89] Another dollar was given by a "lonely and very aged woman."[88] Residents of a home for alcoholics in New York's rival city of Brooklyn—the cities would not merge until 1898—donated $15; other drinkers helped out through donation boxes in bars and saloons.[90] A kindergarten class in Davenport, Iowa, mailed the World a gift of $1.35.[88] As the donations flooded in, the committee resumed work on the pedestal.[91]
