It's apparent that Rear Admiral Lou Yuan has been reading Maoist revisionist history and has forgotten how the U.S. fought the Japanese and Germans in a two front war during WWII.
Since then the U.S. has always been prepared to do the same in the future. 78 years down the pike and people still believe what Japan thought they could beat us.

The leftist would welcome Land Reform, a Great Leap Forward, and a Cultural Revolution. That would make for about 30 million less conservatives in the US.

Japan didn’t have nuclear weapons.

Lot of people saying the US would ‘destroy China’ but I doubt any country is mad enough to launch a nuclear attack on another nuclear power and see all its major cities glassed. I think the more likely outcome is that the US would unilaterally cancel its debt to China and ban all trade with China, with its allies following suit and watch their economy collapse. For this reason, China isn’t going to do a damn thing.

Sink One US Carrier—All of the Chinese Navy would be destroyed in a day. Along with major naval bases. If they use a nuke -— five cities would vanish for each city the USA lost.

You are right. Outsourcing has always angered me and I have just hated the drop in quality in so many goods. Thomas Jefferson commented something to the effect of "merchants have no respect for the ground on which they stand". He was very perceptive. Add to that the notion that Americans don't seem to have that respect either.
I'm happy to be old and not long for this world.

That’s exactly what the Japanese said 78 years ago. It didn’t turn out so well for them.

He’s 100% correct. They since one or two aircraft carriers in the South China Sea, we nuke a couple of their cities.
The tension would be resolved, as the Chinese leadership would be gone, victims of the snappening by Thanos, turned to ash.
