Dear Mr. President,
You cannot make a deal with Satan or his pit of vipers in the congress.
Period.
If you cave on this you will be a one-term president.
The democrats will not come your way to accept your offer no matter what you offer. They sense weakness on your part and they're going to go for your jugular.
They couldn't care less about the out of work government workers. This is a sledge hammer they intend to use on you no matter what.
The only way you can win in this situation is to stand your ground. We the people have your back.
If the democrats refuse to budge, then you will have to secure the border any way you can without them. Use the military to beef up and secure the most vulnerable sections of the border.
Let the government stay shutdown until hell freezes over if necessary.
NO AMNESTY (comprehensive immigration reform)!!
If you let the democrats and RINOs badger you into approving amnesty, you WILL lose your base and you will NOT be reelected.
You have already saved the country several times over and you will go down in history as the greatest president ever, IF you do NOT cave on this!!

I never thought they would get deported, never expected Trump to do that. I still don’t. Is deportation workable or viable? No. It would kill the GOP, it’s not the hill to die on.
Dry up their prospects and benefits and they’ll self deport. Amnesty will simply draw more in.
Not only is it workable and viable, it's been done before twice.
Under President Eisenhower, we had Operation Wetback and Operation Wetback II where millions of illegals were rounded up and deported.
As for saving the GOP, the more Romneys, Ryans, McCains they deliver the less I care.
Amnesty would apply only to the ones already here, right?
I agree we should stop all welfare for illegals who don’t pay tax. That’s a job for Congress, as Trump rightfully says.

No I’m not any of those. I think mass deportation of 20-30 million non violent illegals would be practically impossible and even if it was possible would have very bad consequences for the country and conservatives. I’ve pointed out many rational and logical reasons why.

No, he always said that children who were raised here were a special category. He said that those who have come here illegally would have to leave and maybe come back.
