The rich are not afraid of high income taxes, there are always ways to work around them. Now, gross worth confiscation is another matter entirely.
Income taxes are nothing to the rich. It is property and capital gains taxes that hit them.
And yes, I would love to see an exemption on and/or lowering of income taxes up to a certain level of net worth.
Also, to help the startup business peeps, bring back income averaging. Otherwise you are seriously crippling those who might put a couple of years into a business before making their first income/profit.
It is best not to anger super-rich people or to put them ill-at-ease. They have a way of making those problems ‘go away’.............................
If they’re really afraid of her, they just need to get her to attack the Clintons and she’ll turn up in a park somewhere, committing suicide, by shooting herself in the head, twice.

This is what I try and impress upon young socialists. The government will always be able to find someone who is worse off then you are. Once you give government the right to steal from you in the name of others the government will take everything you have.
