FYI anytime white powder is seized it has to be tested at a lab. Any competent inventory would list such substance as white powder rather than the suspected substance, pending lab results, which may not be available for months.
That white powder could be cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, or a host of other illegal substances or it could be baking soda, flour, sugar or a host of innocuous substances.
It can be field tested immediately close enough
Toss a pinch in the vial solution and stick the strip in
Plus any cop knows if it smells like coke
Heroin has little smell
