On the very day President Donald Trump declared a national emergency that is nothing but a lie, a horrifically real national emergency played out in Aurora.
Just hours after Trump declared a national emergency on Friday so as to defy the will of Congress and spend billions of dollars on a wall along the southern border, a shooter in Aurora killed five people and injured five police officers. The shooter, Gary Martin, 45, reportedly was killed by the police.

We had intended to write about Trump’s fake emergency today. That was our plan. We thought we would make the obvious point that it’s hard to believe there’s an emergency along the border when the president has been whining for his wall for two years, has all his facts wrong and offhandedly acknowledged on Friday — after declaring the emergency — that he “didn’t need” to do so.

you can bet dollars to donuts that when a democrat becomes president, they are going to issue ‘national emergency’ laws for gun control and climate change- or try at least- democrats are extremely vindictive people- they never forget- which is why they are trying to impeach trump (Clinton got impeached- therefore a republican must be impeached in their minds)-
Trump won a victory with this wall order- and the left will never let that stand without punishing America for it- punishing law abiding citizens
Where’s the op-Ed about the daily shootings among gang manners in Chicago, Baltimore, etc.?
All cities/states with strict gun control laws.
They would have done national emergency’s on guns, hate speech, climate change, etc. no matter what Trump did.
If the Democrat Party worms its way back into the White House, maybe it will try an “emergency declaration” attack on rkba. A mandated “buy-back” would be an exciting development.
How many of the almost daily shootings in Chicago are by people with legally-owned guns? Hypocrites.

They don’t care. There’s maybe 30 or 40 homicides every month in Chicago, maybe more.
The truth is a firearm is no more or less dangerous than the person who owns it. They cannot admit to the reality. This is why they try to control the language as well. They call it “gun violence.”
People are violent. Their answer to that, is to go after non-violent people, because it’s easier, and safer.

Not so shockingly, something which has been stated as being an emergency by every president since Carter is a fake emergency. But the real emergency is the ‘need’ for new gun restrictions on law abiding citizens due to the actions of those who violate the laws.
Fixing our justice system so that it once again ADMINISTERS justice with the goal of reforming those who commit crimes, alas, isn’t on anyone’s radar at the moment. Except to debate if someone might feel some form of pain WHEN THEY ARE EXECUTED.
