WASHINGTON — President Trump still isn’t ready to release the “devastating” documents he said a few months ago he would drop on Democrats if they continued hounding his administration.
“If they play tough, I will do it. And they will see how devastating those pages are,” Trump said during a late November sit-down with The Post.
He said he could declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted they would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.
The president had been asked why he hadn’t declassified documents that could be buried once Democrats took over the Republican investigations in the House of Representatives.
Trump explained that if he released the documents before the party changeover, “it would already be yesterday’s news.” Instead he planned to hold on to them for a rainy day. “It’s much more powerful,” Trump said.
For Democrats, the president warned “there are not two tracks,” explaining that they can either get things done or investigate the president. On Tuesday, the president indicated that he believed Democrats had chosen the latter. “It’s too bad because I’d rather see them do legislation … but they want to focus on nonsense,” he said at an executive order signing ceremony in the Roosevelt Room.
In November, Trump predicted that the Democrats going after his administration “would be the best thing that could happen to me.”
“Because I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard, they’ve never been hit like that,” Trump said. “And you know what, I think that will help my campaign, that will be the beginning of my campaign for president.”

Exactly. Wait when the Dummycrats have their presidential pick (cough Hitlery..) Just let these fools go all triggered for nothing..
Hit them back right before the 2020 election.
I bet many of their top Presidential candidates are touched by this evidence.
This forces the Dummycrats to reach into their back bench for candidates not vulnerable to being wiped out by a well-timed release.
Their back benchers are all whack-jobs, and memories of Obola are still fresh.

Thanks, I been here a while. Imagine if we could see all the documents we’d like to see. It would probably look like the villagers heading to Frankenstein’s castle in an old black and white movie. Except we’d be carrying different looking arms.
