There is no “Islamophobia”
It is perfectly rational to fear a religion that has a 1397 year history of beheadings, rape, murder, conquest and slavery.
Well, us fundamentalist Jewish people (aka “Orthodox”) might dress funny, pray a lot, not roll on Shabbos, eat funny foods, not shake hands with the opposite sex, and dedicate our lives to serving our fellow man, but I don’t see many of us imposing our religion on other people, forcing conversion, chopping off heads, or killing people who leave our faith.
Fundamentalist Muslims, in contrast . . .
IMHO, it is time for House Republicans to ACT like a “loyal opposition” to the goose-stepping anti-American Democrats.
Why didn’t the Republican Caucus PASS the original, short-form “resolution” to reject anti-Semitism in general and to specifically reject brain-washed Omar by THEMSELVES?
I am so tired of the “woulda-coulda” whining of Republicans.
Why didn’t the Republican Caucus just seize the initiative by holding a VOTE on their OWN “non-binding” resolution? Pelosi has no power to “veto” the actions of caucuses, does she?
The reluctance of Republicans to show how they are different from Democrats through actual, recorded VOTES is embarrassing....
