Far-left NBC News covered up its own findings about the effect Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) antisemitic remarks are having in her own home district.
Desperate to craft a puff-piece to protect Omar and the Democrat Party, NBC published the following headline Sunday night: “Far from Washington, Rep. Omar’s constituents see the Israel controversy in a different light.”
The story opens with this Pablum: “Rep. Ilhan Omar’s comments about Israel have consumed Washington. But here in Minnesota’s diverse 5th Congressional District, a pillar of progressivism that handed Omar a decisive victory in November’s midterm elections, there has been far less outrage.”

Last week the Democrat Party, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, basically came out of the anti-Jewish closet by refusing to specifically condemn antisemitism after Omar, for the third time in just two months, spewed obscene stereotypes about Jews, Israel, and money.
All the Democrats could bring themselves to do was condemn “all hate.”
That one of America’s two major political parties cannot bring itself to specifically condemn antisemitism has a lot of Americans worried, not just those in Omar’s home district.

Mark Levin recently reiterated that the liberals’ anti-Israel stance is a cover for their being anti-Jewish.
That allows them to say “Oh that warlike, uncompromising Netanyahu is churning the people to have a war over there like Trump does here.”
But without Israel’s issues as a topic, what do Omar,Tlaib and Farrakhan say about Jews? A few words deep in their comments are where the anti-Jewish stance shows itself.
So ironic that Jews have always been linking arms with Dr.Martin Luther King in marches, standing with various people in liberal causes (wrong as they were!) and going to interfaith conferences to promote understanding. Then getting dumped on.

Christians don't get outraged over other people freely practicing their religions.
I used to live in the 5th District. It’s always been left of center. But in the last 10 years or so, it has lurched further left. In municipal elections, the Democrat’s main opponent is usually the Green Party, not the GOP.
It is 67% white - but the kind of whites are the over-educated guilt-ridden white liberals who like to feel “diverse”, “caring” and “open-minded” in backing totally unqualified candidates like Omar. Looking at the election results from last August’s primary, Omar did very well in those precincts.
Sadly enough, Omar did have serious primary competition too. Her opponent was a former speaker of the state house of reps and was well-funded and a good campaigner - but the 5th District voters were all about “diversity” and identity politics.
Omar will have this district as long as she wants it. The only way she loses is if she is perceived as not being left enough - something unlikely to happen.
It sounds like her “district” is loaded with Jew haters.

just making the point that we are losing large swaths of OUR country to America-hating muslims - the district omar is from is just as virulently anti-American, Anti-Semitic as michiganistan is
