Seems citizens all over the globe are tiring of progressive leadership.
I guess their fruits arent very tasty after all. Bitter, in fact.
Thank God.

Scott Morrison, Australias conservative prime minister, won his first full term in office on Saturday, confounding expectations that the countrys voters were ready for a change in course after six years of tumultuous leadership under his party.
The polls had pointed to a loss for Mr. Morrisons right-leaning coalition for months.

I dont recall Hillary actually giving a concession speech.
Or Gore or Kerry, for that matter.
Its just not the Democrat thing to do.

[Wong is a carpet muncher who has likely been prevented from steering us in Chinas direction as foreign minister]
A Manchurian candidate carpet muncher in the ALP? Gotta love the left’s diversity. Still, it’s not entirely clear that she’d be China’s lapdog.
There is that little matter of the Malayan Emergency, where China funded a Communist insurgency in the country for decades. To the extent there’s any residual affection for the old country, you’d think that country would be Malaysia, not China. And that sentiment would be in opposition to the adversary of the moment, and probably for the foreseeable future, China.
Then again, she’s probably a bog standard lefty, with no loyalty to anyone or anything except the nutty ideology of the moment, and that typically leans peacenik. Given that the Chinese government is in no way left-wing* except in the pablum it emits to justify the reign of the current occupant of the dragon throne**, I don’t see Wong or the ALP being particularly enamored of the CCP. Limp-wristedly dovish? Sure, because that’s the way democratic socialist parties roll - every dollar of spending on defense is a dollar diverted from the welfare state.

Chose to fall asleep before concession and claim victory speeches. Oh dear. Shorten did give a solid concession to his credit. No whinging. Labor is likely headed for another shot at a woman leading the party. Morrison defied gravity. But not by much. As the sun rises, Phelps might not feel like a celebratory carpet munch as Sharma inches ahead for the Libs in Wentworth. In the senate the damn green nazis will prob have the balance of power. They bang on their single issue drum, and trendoids keep listening to it. Will be a real pain for Morrison.
