Er, What’s The Big Secret That Forced Mike Pence To Cancel An Event Today?

You don’t see a bulletin like this every day:

Er, what's the big secret that forced Mike Pence to cancel an event today? That triggered a wave of murmuring across political Twitter. Was everything okay?

Absolutely no cause for concern, insisted White House officials. There’s no medical issue with Trump or Pence. But yes, “something came up.”

And no, you’re not allowed to know what that thing is. Even though it was sufficiently urgent that the vice president of the United States had to cancel an event and return not just to Washington but to the White House. He’s on the job — which, one would think, rules out some personal or medical issue in the Pence family.

Pence’s spokesman insists there’s no cause for alarm. And no, you can’t know what’s up. Sorry.

Not sure with the Congress we have now. Too many socialists that would likely take the other side...any other side. Too many RINOs that would go along with them.

RE:

1. There was a Russian escort submarine present with a Russian nuclear sub.

I believe "Russian nuclear sub" means a (nuclear) missile boat, requiring an escort.

3. ...was scuttled (sunk) by a...

I also think you wouldn't use a torpedo to "scuttle" a vessel. You use that device to destroy (blow up) a vessel.

No such animal as the Balkan 2000 torpedo listed in the story.

Its BS.

Trump caught something from the little rat he met at the DMZ.

Things have really changed since the 70’s. The ssbn I was on never had an escort. We had fast attacks around, so did Ivan, this whole story has the smell of horse manure.

IDK we always had a british surface ship available to cut off the Russian trawlers who waited for us to leave port so we could dive and get away

Im feeling its panic misdirection from those sheltering the indicted ones. It takes something pretty big to derail treason indictments.

We came in off patrol one night and I got permission to go up in the sail. The trawlers were there but didn’t get too close. We probably weren’t the only US warship there. Next morning I went topside with an ELT to survey the deck to bring riders aboard the trawlers stood off even farther. Trawlers my ass was a favorite expression, I’m betting it still is.

"She told them Germany or Alaska."

I wanted Germany, Scotland or Japan. I got Virginia. I'm still miffed about that too!

Also Georgia included. Ukraine and Georgia are not members of nato yet. The fact that they are included in this must really po Putin.

There is as rumor that a Russian sub sank a US sub (scuttled in the story) using a Balkan 2000 torpedo off AK - the torpedo is a Swedish export model.

This incident either did not happen or no one has their story straight about what did happen. Or its a coded message about something else entirely - Just reporting I have no idea myself.

“Indictments coming...”

“Deep State in panic mode!”

Good reason for Trump to have tanks in DC on July 4th. It’s a dry run.

The Losharik sub is apparently explained by the unique design of its internal hull, which is made of several titanium spheres capable of withstanding high pressure at great depths.

In 2012, the Losharik was involved in research intended to prove Russia’s claim on the vast Arctic seabed. It collected samples from the depth of 8,202 feet, according to official statements at the time. Regular submarines can typically dive to depths of up to 2,000 feet.

Some observers speculated the Losharik was even capable of going as deep as 19,685 feet, but the claims couldn’t be independently confirmed. Analysts suggested that one of its possible missions could be disrupting communication cables on the ocean bed.

The Losharik is carried under the hull of a mother submarine, the nuclear-powered Orenburg.

Russian news reports said that while the Losharik officially belongs to the Northern Fleet, it answers directly to the Defense Ministry’s Department for Deep-Sea Research, reflecting the high sensitivity of its missions.
