You could probably get a few thousand in the BART stations as well!
Could be worse.
Many communist countries sent off excess city population off to the countryside to WORK.

Reminds me about socialist architects about 100 years ago doing urban planned communities (in europe) with the results being the nearest things to prison cells I’ve seen for ‘housing’.
Sounds like they’re trying to replace the Oakland Ghost Ship
Pelosi’s house.
Not bad. Space heater and wifi?
But you’re not getting the Ramen...
Yes, certainly so. Every generation has it's percentage of idiots. This new younger generation has more than previous generations.
SF is expensive, but illegal aliens somehow manage to get housing without doing this pod-share crap. My oldest daughter with her husband and my granddaughter were living in a nice apartment across from GG Park in an upscale area of SF, for $1600 a month, included a garage space. One block from trendy restaurants and stores, bus stops, and perks across the street in GG Park including museums and band events. They moved about 5 years ago with the arrival of a 2nd child to a larger apartment down the peninsula, and the landlord instantly doubled the rent to $3200 for the next tenant. Yikes! Things got expensive quickly for tenants in SF, blame that on rent controls. When you can't raise rents much on existing tenants, you hike it extremely high on a new incoming tenant. But there is still available housing if one is willing to go further out of the city into the suburbs and either drive or take public transportation. Liberal democrat policies that hurt landlords is taking rental units off the market in SF, or hiking rents on incoming tenants.
My neighbor's brother can't get rid of a tenant that has been paying low rent for many years, in order to refurbish the house of two flats for his own family's use. The law won't allow him to evict the tenant. The tenant has even rejected offers of cash to move out (offered $40,000). Under SF rent laws, senior tenants have the right to live there until they die without fear of eviction. This is why landlords are taking rental units off the market, when they can legally do so. Had that happen to friends that owned rental property in SF, they sold it off as soon as they could. Stupid laws that discriminate against landlords.
And they’re completely clueless that Democrat policies created this disaster in the first place.
I’ve heard that this is the plan the NWO folks have for all those they allow to remain alive.
Those stupid laws designed to protect tenants really disincentivize operating rental properties - which in turn raises rents even higher.
Oh darn, well that’s a dealbreaker.
Undoubtedly, it is hostile.
