The two prison guards at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan jail who reportedly failed to follow procedure and check on prisoners every 30 minutes were both working long overtime shifts the night the pedophile took his own life, a source has revealed.
The former financier, 66, was found hanging in his prison cell shortly before 7am and was rushed to nearby New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan hospital
A prison official told The New York Times one of the guards was working his fifth straight day of overtime at the short staffed jailhouse while the second corrections officers was had been forced to work overtime.

It only takes 7 minutes to die from hanging so 30 minute checks might not have made a difference anyway.

A good observation. I’ve thought about that too and my only theory is that he knew the life he was accustomed to was over, at 66 he’d likely be in his 80s before he ever got out of prison if he was lucky, and in addition to the endless interrogations and discovery of what he knew would be found on his properties, he would have to live every day looking over his shoulder wondering when he’d be killed in prison. So maybe he used his own money to bribe guards into giving him enough time to end it on his own terms.
Look at it this way: in our system death is the most severe punishment the law provides and he never would have got the death penalty for his crimes. But maybe he gave it to himself.
Not sure how prisons work, but I worked as a tech in psych in the late seventies. When you have a person on suicide watch there is someone always watching. You even have to essentially go to the restroom with them. They are given plastic to eat with and the plastic ware must be accounted for when they are done eating. The articles I read state that he hung himself. Not on suicide watch. A person doesn’t have anything to hang himself with. There usually is only a mattress on the floor and absolutely no furniture. The only one that can take someone off the watch is a medical doctor.
On suicide watch a prisoner at that jail is:
Naked with nothing in the cell.
Watched on camera.
Watched constantly by a guard.
He obtained materials to hang himself.
The guard was not watching.
The camera failed right then.
Epstein was a rich narcissist with legal outs. Rich narcissists with legal outs do not kill themselves.
This is the most flagrant, pissing in your face, act of the globalists to date.

The buck stops with Barr and Trump. They’re in charge of the federal prisons and they should have been demanding, and following up on, ultra tight security for this super-sensitive prisoner
Instead we get conditions like a backwater county jail
In fact Barney Fife did a better job of monitoring Otis the town drunk, than Barr did with Epstein
No kidding. And who knows what kind of spiff they’ll get for being derelict in their duties. Probably a year’s paid leave.
Contrast the supposed lack of resources at the SAME FEDERAL JAIL in Manhattan with what they did when they hosted one El Chapo, the Mexican drug cartel kingpin. When he was convicted at the Brooklyn federal court in July, they took El Chapo back to the jail in Manhattan in a caravan of armored vehicles; closed down the Brooklyn Bridge so there could be no side attacks; had a helicopter hovering over the entire transfer. Somehow, the same institution didn’t have a shortage of resources, tired guards, a lack of staff, no coverage cameras, and a suicide watch. We have to be intolerant of their lies, it happened with Lee Harvey Oswald and multiples since.

It doesn’t matter whether Epstein was murdered or killed himself or is in Tel Aviv right now hoisting a beer with his handlers - this whole incident was an in-your-face move by the Deep State, aimed at its critics. They are letting everyone know that while Trump my be in office, he is not in power.
