An openly gay person isn’t necessarily any different from a heterosexual. These parades you see with strange dress and mannerisms are the problem. People like Patrick Bumatay only want to be treated equal, not better or privileged. He is a member of society, not an activist for special privileges, or someone preying upon others. For that, he should be no different in the eyes of society than anyone trying to improve our way of life. It was his choice in his sexual preference. I don’t agree with it, but it harms no one the way he is handling it.

Agreed - I have a few homosexual acquaintances...some were horribly abused as children/adolescents and others struggled for years trying to be normal until finding out 9to their chagrin0 that they weren’t.
The abused ones are quirkier but doing their best to fit in and act and dress “normally”.
The others, having come to terms, look and act normal and hate the activists and those who “cater for these special people”.
