WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Strikes have been carried out against two targets linked to Iran in Baghdad on Thursday, U.S. officials told Reuters.
The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, declined to give any further details.

Heads of state do not lead anti-government forces within neighboring states, nor appear at mob assaults on embassies.

This will drive the Shi’ite’s crazy. Any concentration of Americans be they civilian or military in Iraq will be the target of many suicide bombers. These people are crazy and many are willing to die to avenge Soleimani. Soleimani killed many Americans and was a prime target. Yet if his death results in this disastrous American entanglement getting even deeper and more complicated, then he really did die a Muslim martyr. Our involvement there has been a bad mistake. Time to declare victory and come home. Iraq is not worth any more sacrifice of American blood or treasure.
