I learned in Basic Training that “New York” was an acquired taste. I love it in Trump. I see Nadler as an assh*le, unbound by geography.
Dream on. They will prattle on ad infinitum.
This is not a court case. This is a one of a kind impeachment trial as laid out in the Constitution and precedent. The presiding Justice’s role is to maintain order and keep the two sides moving along. There was no censoring and I saw the video. Roberts is trying to keep it civil. That’s part of his responsibility.
I haven’t watched a second of this nonsense, but I knew putting Nadler & Schiff out in front would reap benefits. The mere sight of them shuffling around in daylight is enough to turn someone’s stomach.

If this were a movie, you could not come up with better character actors to represent the personification of sleazy lawyers than Nadler and Schiff.

New Yorkers are terrific people. I’ve had the privilege of knowing many of them through work. The ones I know are from Long Island and are terribly frustrated. Great people.
I feel for them and have listened to their political rage more than once on the phone. They just don’t have the numbers.
Right. My point is that "keeping it civil" doesn't mean admonishing one side or the other over the content of their statements.
If Nadler and Schiff want to make wild, outlandish accusations about U.S. Senators on the "jury," then that's their prerogative.

I was sooooo pleased that Pelousi appointed Schiff and Nadler as Managers. This result was never in doubt.

Susan Collins won in 2014 with 68% of the vote.
Because of her support for Brett Kavanaugh, the democraps have it in for her and will not cross over in huge numbers this time.
It is expected that $55 million will be spent on this one senate race.
Here in Maine, there are constant TV and radio ads for and against Collins; these ads started last year.
Her presumed opponent is democrat Maine House Speaker Sara Gideon.

Collins always seems to put herslf out there one way or the other...usually in notes or comments behind the scenes she knows all to well will be revealed.
She reminds me of a mousey type Elizabeth Warren, playing hall monitor or schooling people how things should be. She and other rhinos love the attention when votes count and play it to the hilt!
Collins should have added in her note:
Because I’m one of the few unbiased Senator’s you need to lt me instruct you on how to do your job...
