President Trump was a builder in his first career, and a showman in his second. A showman who’s fortune was based on his ability to select winners and judge character. His track record is not 100% but when the chips are down as they are now, he’s surrounded himself with a team of all-stars who accomplish the #1 job of all employees: to do their jobs while making the boss look good.
Pretty good imagination.
I liked it.
There’s more of that projection again.
A Twitter guy @MNJim brought this to my attention:
Trump is now getting credit with the suburban moms for keeping them and their kids safe.
Remember 2004, how Bush got credit with suburban moms for keeping their families safe from Islamic Whackadoodles? That is now swinging in Trump’s direction as well.
It he carries the suburban vote, this is a massive landslide.
Im a senior and honestly feel that President Trump is the best in my lifetime. Countless people I know speak of their love for our President. Ive never heard people refer to any President in those words.
actually pence is more like an evangelical preacher imho. he exudes hope, optimism, unity, reliability, gratitude, and loyalty. he has one and only one expression: confidence. he is somewhat boring, but he gets all of his important points across with credibility. he carefully makes no enemies. and he always defers to trump. pence is constantly preaching the message: everyone needs to get on board, follow trump, defeat the enemy (in this case, covid-19, not the devil).
I'm impressed with the task force: VP Pence, Dr. Brix, Dr. Fauci, et al. I think they're doing a good job.
They will never admit that Trump’s popularity is because he is doing the right things and doing it well. It’s always something else. People are stupid, people are bigots, Trump is running a reality show, Trump is fooling people, pollsters are lying.. or whatever else.
Dr. Birx has quite a selection of scarves.
I disagree with this characterization of the VP. Pence has performed superbly in this situation; he is not boring, just Midwestern shyness. He should be the 2024 nominee; no one should challenge him for the nomination. This assumes a big if, if the Trump ticket wins again.
cute article ...
I don't like this headline. In my view, Trump's handling of the pandemic has been good, which has bolstered his rating, to his advantage.
The wording of the headline implies that he has manipulated opinion through his handling of the pandemic, but implies to me his goal was the favorable opinion, whereas it was really slowing the pandemic. My 2¢.
I don't know about spectator.org. Maybe that was their intention?
It is advantageous to act like a calm adult when you are surrounded by democrat and media yap dogs nipping at your heels, criticsizing your every move.
Good article with excellent satire taken to the edge, but not shoved off. I enjoyed it.
