You expect the media to tell you?
RE: I have noticed no matter how many success stories there are it’s like there were none. If a million were cured it would remain anecdotal.
Here is what I have observed based on anecdotal evidence and the studies made by Dr. Didier Raoult in France and Vladimir Zelenko in upstate New York:
HCQ + azithromycin + Zinc is very effective for Covid-19 patients who are symptomatic BUT not yet at the point of intubation.
In such cases, patients often recover more quickly than using standard conventional medical care.
This is HUGE because it significantly lessens the burden on hospitals and healthcare workers like nurses and doctors.
However, what has NOT been shown is its efficacy in REVERSING the conditions of those who are already on ventilators and respirators. Sure, there are anecdotal evidence that some have been saved even at this critical illness point, but we do not yet know how efficacious it is for such severely ill patients.
So, if you’re going to use these combo, it’s best to use it BEFORE the patient is severely ill to prevent further possible progression.
I’d like to see anything you find on that.
There are MANY studies that show that zinc, when transported into cell walls by “ionophores” (other chemicals that carry ions across cell lipid barriers), has the effect of stopping Virus RNA replication, as well as causing pre-programmed cell death (Apoptosis) in some cancer cells.
Very interestingly, Hydroxychlorquine has already been proven to act as an ionophore for zinc. HCQ and zinc are used in some cancer treatments. Polyphenols (found in various vegetables and green tea) are very good ionophores for zinc.

Yes, it has been shown to work. The guy that was on both Laura Ingraham and Hannity was on a vent, was told they couldn’t do anything else for him, and he had pretty much said his goodbyes to his family. After getting an email from a friend about HCQ, he convinced his doctor to give it to him via IV. That was at 7:30 pm. He woke up at 4:45 am and felt 200% (his words) better. Was out of the hospital in just a couple of days.
Plus the French doctor had a number of people on vents who recovered. This works as both a cure and a preventative.
The article notes India has decided precisely that; prescribe before illness is evident. They’ve stopped exporting any HCQ knowing their massive population will need it.

I have seen this interview and I am happy for him. What I’d like to see is LARGE SCALE STUDIES that this is so. Because, Unfortunately I have also heard of cases where HCQ + azithromycin did not help intubated patients ( one of Dr. Raoult’s fatalities in his study was PRECISELY this case — an 86 year old woman on respirator ).
It will probably save a huge number of intubated patients, but we need a large study to determine under what percentage and what conditions this helps to save a life.
Yes the people who are near respiratory failure it’s touch and go with any regime. That includes when the virus is affecting the liver and heart which it can. We are going to have a death toll with this, and with any protocol. An 80 year old with COPD and a weakened immune system is probably a goner. We can’t have the perfect be the enemy of the good here. We need to see if this works the next few weeks and be sensible in our infectious disease protocols and let this thing run it’s course.

Yes, there is an obvious reason.
The reason: Because it would make Trump look like a very wise leader.
In any event, the media needs to put all blame on Trump, because by him suggesting HCQ, he made it impossible for the media to promote its use. Therefore, were it not for Trump advocating for HCQ the media would have been touting its effectiveness, and many lives thus could have been saved. It’s all Trumps fault you see.
More deaths are needed before any curative protocols are put into place. Too few deaths would be a positive for Trump. Absolutely a no no.

I'm looking for an Easter Sunday Miracle. I truly believe it will be over as long as we can get these drugs distributed....and I know we can.
The only anecdotal evidence I have seen that it doesn’t work is the long quote from an anonymous ER doctor in a small New Orleans community hospital that has been posted here more times than I can count. And now someone just posted a pronouncement from the European Union claiming no evidence it works.
I’ve heard that for this pair to work it needs to include zinc.
As I type, they are developing a process in which they will galvanize the outside of the tablet. That should work.

Absolutely! It would fit their narrative that Trump was peddling snake oil to desperate people.
These are people who would burn the world down if it would remove Trump and restore their side to power, and even better, allow them to institute the dictatorship they've always wanted. You think they care if other people die? Just part of the price they're willing to pay.
Yes - there's no sense using a zinc ionophore (gateway) into the infected cell like hydroxychloroquine, without providing a dosage of zinc to actually get in.
The zinc is what stops the virus replicase within the cell. The hydroxychloroquine is just the tool to allow the zinc entrance.
