I can’t wait for Trump’s next video.
He is one step from where he has to go when this is beaten. He has to use every dem and media reaction to anything he did and say “ See they were hoping I would fail. Beating me was more important to them than beating covid.”
What is it about dudes named Jonathan?
I’ve studied onomastics since I was a teenager and I can only conclude that there seems to be a karma about certain names.
It does appear to me that the male population of Jonathans has a larger-than-normal proportion of wimps and flakes.
Conversely, I was rather floored to read that “Karen” is being used as a generic term for whiny, bitchy middle-aged females, often divorced single mothers.
Now, I certainly know the type. But I’ve always thought the name Karen to be perfectly innocuous.
But think hard on Jonathan. Immediately, the name of another media stooge, Jonathan Chait, leaps to mind.
There are many others, but I prefer not to dwell too much upon such low-life people.
I would appreciate any thoughts from other FReepers on this Jonathan business.

Wish he’d hurry up and have it already. I’m sick and tired of his rude and disrespectful behavior. He should be sent to the back of the class and not allowed to ask questions ever.
The reporters at the pressers should NEVER be put on camera nor should they have a microphone. Let them text their questions to an account set up specifically for that purpose.
The President or whomever the question is addressed to can read the question, credit the reporter by name and give his/her answer.
Refuse to give them the attention they are so desperate for.
Who was the woman reporter that was screaming yesterday and Trump says, "You weren't called on."
Quite rude
This whole issue of ventilators is overblown.
Fox News is reporting that:
“The study also revealed that the overwhelming majority of patients who were on ventilators eventually died, and those who did more often had diabetes.”
“Data gathered from 2,634 patients who either died or were discharged from the hospital showed that 12 percent of them were placed on ventilators and of those who were, 88 percent of them died.”
In other words, these ventilators are not nearly as effective in preserving lives as the media implies.
Goes back to what somebody said on FR earlier, the camera should NEVER show the questioners.
