MUCH more than "a different opinion", boychik. A forceful condemnation of a religion, labeling it deficient, suggesting its replacement, is not offering a different opinion. And I'll use as many words as I feel like---what are you, a word counting overseer or something? Go pound sand.

So, you're saying the State of Israel is a Jewish State, opposed to Christianity and other religions, with the right to keep out alien people and ideas (including religion.)
Okay. But let's start calling the State of Israel what it is: a theocracy. And a theocracy is not a free democracy.

I never compared Hinduism to Christianity. I used Hinduism to illustrate a non-Jewish religion to Israel, just as Christianity is a non-Jewish religion. I know MY Bible, not yours. I don't know Hindu religious texts either. I have no reason to know either one.
Are these preacher kooks holding a gun to your head? To the contrary, it is the very definition of a different opinion. You just happen to especially not like it so you want to label it as something worse.

Viewers are not coerced to watch, and many choices are available at any time. If one broadcast offends, a simple turn of the dial or a few button clicks takes you to another. You can also turn it off, or better yet pitch it out the window (if you live on the ground floor) At least that’s the way I’ve always seen it work.
Is anything about Judaism permissible? If so, what subtopics considered off limits? Another thing, there are variants of Judaism; where do you draw the line? Finally, what about atheists? They proselytize as much as anybody.
I think mutual tolerance is the best policy, but maybe we should ask a Rabbi?
That was my point. This is and Israeli matter being argued by Israelis as members of a sovereign nation. Doesn’t matter what the rest of us think. As for me, I think it is a miracle that from its inception, its leaders have tried to be both a Jewish state and have freedom of religion. An almost impossible task, and if they err occasionally to one side or the other, it is understandable.
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature unless they are under age 18.
Must be the Revised Government of Israel version of the bible.

How the Han are ruled is none of my business.
I prefer to think of Israel as an ethnostate with some theocratic features - since Jews who are atheists by conviction enjoy right of return and the protection of the State, but cannot (for example) marry without approval of the religious authorities.
And of course it is not a "free democracy", how could it be? Allowing a situation to arise where non-Jews could outvote Jews would eliminate the entire purpose of teh State and would be criminally irresponsible.
Do what you got to do. But looks like you won’t be doing it in Israel.
