I think it is also important to note that this is an Israeli matter, with both sides being Israeli citizens, being litigated under Israeli laws and (if it comes to that) in Israeli courts. Whatever my personal opinions, I recognize their sovereignty over their own land.

The San Remo Conference of 1920 that is the legal basis of ‘Palestine’ as a Jewish homeland recognized its Jewish nature the same way that conference recognized the the ethnic nature of Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.

There was no imposition of a requirement that those nations be open to proselytization they saw as against their best interest.
