So wait, Washington State is just letting people take their own part of the city and state? At this point, I want reverse secession, where the federal government forces states out of the Union for not taking care of themselves properly.

And I wonder just where the tax dollars are going come from to pay for those “surrounding fire stations” to stand ready and, if needed, fight fires inside the insurgent zone?? Surely the people living in the surrounding areas can’t be expected to pay. Why should their tax rates be increased to pay for the insurgent zone (I’m assuming that the insurgents refuse to pay taxes to the big, bad government).
You’re actually in Seattle...what are normal people doing/thinking/saying?? Is everyone up there just sitting idly by?

I would just let fires burn in the insurgent zone and fight anything that comes out of that area. Maybe just spray viruses inside the zone and let the people all get sick and beg for medical help.

This is a very small part of Seattle.
However, the various marches and protests can arise anywhere. My wife helps out an elderly neighbor who has a doctor’s appointment about 8 blocks from the “CHAZ”. She told the neighbor that she won’t be taking her until this crap is sorted out. (And also trying to find another place she can take her to.)
And all this just to goad Trump into acting so the left can scream KENT STATE and win the November election.

Exactly. Seems like this is a great time fir eastern Oregon and eastern Washington to merge into their own autonomous zone, sane with parts of California.
My brother canceled his dr. appointment because of the same type of concerns. We're in Missouri but St. Louis is erupting (off and on). It's unbelievable that this sh*t is going on with no effort made to stop it.

I was looking into the “MOVE” thing in Philadelphia. The cops dropped a firebomb onto the row house. The entire block went up in flames.
Turns out most of the neighbors had a problem with the MOVE cult.
For this Capitol Hill stuff, I say just let it go on. Hopefully the normal folks in the area will ask for help from the city. Knowing the area, they don’t have the gumption to take it on themselves.
Community centers in the black communities end up revenue slush centers......not to mention those who take a cut from the donations.
I’m not familiar with MOVE.? But it sounds like it was handled correctly, if that actually happened. Apparently no person of color was killed or we would have heard that on the national news.
