also, the covid loan seemed to work about as well as i hope i would have anticipated had i been in the guy’s shoes: a complete disaster, so avoid it and go out of business instead of taking the loan and taking over the risk that business might take forever to come back for reasons effectively beyond ones control.

what exactly is happening is God is allowing hardship for people , so maybe instead of glorifying their business ideals or themselves or such things they will seek HIM? That’s what all life is for and about, chances to seek God, accept Jesus, live filled with The Holy Spirit. Eternity is a really long time. Life and time to get over yourself (each person needs to) and make a wise choice, is very short.
Instead of sitting on a hill wondering what happen to his business, he should be praising God for the redirection and thanking God for another chance to get in line with God’s will instead of his own self made plans.

This was a handful of disgruntled employees led by one angry woman who has bullied her boss into bankruptcy, costing every employee of his businesses their jobs regardless of the color of their skin.
And now that she’s got him out of the way, she plans to open her own business which will of course, focus on POC. She hopes to bankroll it with bullying her ex-boss into paying reparations to his former employees whom she claims he has wronged (with what I don’t know; maybe she doesn’t understand the meaning of bankruptcy). And she’ll do that by an onslaught of phone calls and e-mails from her social media followers (she helpfully published his contact info on her blog).
Bottom line: This is how a Leftist Activist treats a person who was wholly on her side and striving to help her cause. But it wasn’t enough or it wasn’t fast enough to please her or... whatever.

Don't know what business you're in, but I'm in business - an I don't need/want lefties as clients or around me or my family period. I tell them, to their faces, every day, what PIECES OF SHIT they are whenever I find them on my social media... right in front of their friends and family - and my friends, family, all my clients and customers.
My wife's friends know this about me. So do my neighbors. And I don't give a fk and make plenty of money anyway.
Without a dependable individual or corporate sponsor underwriting it, pay-what-you-can enterprises generally do not work. There are any number of restaurants that have tried this and failed.
