Law enforcement officials in St. Louis have allegedly served a warrant on the St. Louis couple who recently defended their home when a large mob of angry demonstrators allegedly trespassed onto their private property.

“5 On Your Side has learned St. Louis police officers executed a search warrant Friday evening at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the Central West end couple who confronted protesters with weapons in June,” KSDK News reported. “Sources tell 5 On Your Side police seized one of the weapons, the rifle, from the couple and they told police their attorney has the pistol seen in photos.”

Someone bought me a year’s NRA membership about a decade ago. I didn’t sign anything and the free gift went downrange to be used as a target.

Self Protection Insurance is insurance where if, you are forced to use a weapon to protect yourself and are subsequently prosecuted by a liberal gov’t the company will represent you based on the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution and other applicable laws.
It is provided by the NRA, the GOA, and a few other independent companies such as the USCCA.

IIRC, he’s a *Democrat* civil rights lawyer, but I may have that wrong.

You are correct. He’s a democrat civil rights lawyer who supports BLM. Just not in his own neighborhood.

Thanks. In this crazy political climate we’re in, it sounds like a great idea.

[Was also wondering where NRA is, to defend these folks.

Anything?

Bueller?]

The NRA will defend them. But really, the DOJ needs to land on the prosecutor for misconduct. The kind of thing that was done to Sheriff Arpaio needs to happen to the St. Louis proscutors who did this. But the tone-deaf GOP pols who staff Trump’s retinue will probably back off. Because federalism.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Arpaio
[Arpaio has been accused of numerous types of police misconduct, including abuse of power, misuse of funds, failure to investigate sex crimes, criminal negligence, abuse of suspects in custody, improper clearance of cases, unlawful enforcement of immigration laws, and election law violations. A Federal court monitor was appointed to oversee his office’s operations because of complaints of racial profiling. The U.S. Department of Justice concluded that Arpaio oversaw the worst pattern of racial profiling in U.S. history, and subsequently filed suit against him for unlawful discriminatory police conduct.[10][11][12][13] Arpaio and the MCSO were named as defendants in dozens of civil lawsuits brought by citizens arrested by Arpaio and his deputies alleging wrongful arrest, wrongful death, entrapment and other claims, costing taxpayers in Maricopa County over $140 million in litigation against Arpaio during his tenure as sheriff.[14]

Over the course of his career, Arpaio was the subject of several federal civil rights lawsuits. In one case he was a defendant in a decade-long suit in which a federal court issued an injunction barring him from conducting further “immigration round-ups”.[15] A federal court subsequently found that after the order was issued, Arpaio’s office continued to detain “persons for further investigation without reasonable suspicion that a crime has been or is being committed.”[15] In July 2017, he was convicted of criminal contempt of court, a crime for which he was pardoned by President Donald Trump on August 25, 2017.[16] In a separate racial-profiling case which concluded in 2013, Arpaio and his subordinates were found to have unfairly targeted Hispanics in conducting traffic stops.[17] ]

They were on Tucker Carlson. They tried to hire security. The security companies refused and advised them to abandon their house. Nobody seems to be helping them.

IMO this is the future for anyone who gets in the way of the marxist machine. The cities are lost. The rule of law is gone.

Why is everyone saying he is a civil rights attorney? This says he does personal injuries:

Democrats just made a big mistake. This incident will be mentioned in the Republican National Convention and in political ads.

“...They *were* tactically terminally stupid in that they went out on their lawn while brandishing, and the husband muzzle-swept the wife several times while being photographed....”
***************************************************************
Well, someone is terminally stupid but it wasn’t them. Since they CLEARLY felt threatened by an armed mob of trespassers what they did was not legally “brandishing”. The authorities there had ZERO right to seize their rifle.

Now is the time to “fight back”.

People have too much to lose by standing up for their rights?

Stop these marxists now or the rest of the commies will follow suit.

These people are being made an example of to the rest of us.

Barr should be all over this and preparing indictments, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

What line is the one crossed that will finally spur patriots into action?

“...Course I already have the required permit in my state.”

Happily, in Missouri we don’t have to ask the state for permission to buy or conceal carry a firearm. Assuming he or she passes the NICS, he can walk out of the gun store with a new rifle or pistol in a matter of minutes—if he can find anything in stock.
