For years, conservatives have been called conspiracy nutters for suggesting that Twitter was actively censoring its users — but now we know the truth.
During yesterday’s high-profile disaster, in which hackers gained access to many of the top accounts on the site, screenshots of the platform’s administration panel were released showing administrators have the ability to blacklist accounts from being searched for or being allowed to trend on the app.
Of course, Twitter is now suspending anyone for sharing the screenshot above – not because it’s fake – but because they’re desperate to save whatever shred of credibility still remains.
Shares of Twitter were down 2% during morning trading on Thursday as CEO Jack Dorsey is busy consulting kabbalah beads for inspiration on how to deal with the meltdown.
That is a downside for sure, but having to register cuts down on the spam bots although there are some on there.
The major downside of Parler for me is that the feed moves fast and the software is clunky. It is hard to have any discussion as we do here on FR and if you like reading the thoughts of others beyond the linked piece as I do, it is hard on Parler as many of the posts are just drive-by with one sentence.
I understand having to register in order to post. It is the reading part that one should not have to register for. You can read FR without registering, but you can’t post.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on what it is like. I have seen formats like that before where things are moving so fast that you can’t really follow or accomplish much. The live comments on a streaming video can be like that too.

I used to use Twitter all the time for news ever since it came out. I got kicked off last fall for saying there are two different genders. I made a fake account this spring so I could fall what my rino Governor Sununu was announcing during the shutdown in New Hampshire. Haven’t used it since . It’s their loss , conservatives can be loyal customer. Beats me why they want to just have bots and libs . I guess they are just marxists. I’m fine without it. I get my news here now and from tucker , Hannity and Laura.
Once your in any of them, they got you my your ass!
